Great seafood restaurant in Gloucester. There was live music, great drinks, and delicious food. We got the fisherman’s platter, lobster roll, clam chowder, onion rings, and bang bang shrimp. We noticed that everything needed a touch of salt, but over all was very good. My personal favorite were the fried scallops in the fisherman’s platter. This is located right along the water as well. Highly recommend stopping here if you can!
The only thing i liked about this place was the outdoor seating atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was mediocre at best and the price was really expensive and unreasonable. The dishes we tried were bland and poorly executed. I would not recommend Blue Collar to anyone looking for a good dining experience. The food is mediocre but expensive.. There are many better restaurants in the area that are worth your time and money.
One of the epic lunches I had was here! Perfect taste, perfect music, perfect vibe! Service was quick; parking was easily available; wasn’t too crowded! Highly recommend anyone looking for a lunch!
Dine inside or out at this seaside gem. Although the meat in our lobster roll was over-chilled and tough to chew, the fish tacos with haddock batter-dipped and fried rather than blackened were delightful. Worth a visit!
The food was delicious, and between the prices and portions you get way more than you pay for. The scenery for your meal is just as good as the food, absolutely breathtaking. The people that worked there were perfectly placed to keep the entire experience perfect. I highly recommend! Wheelchair accessibility: It's definitely wheelchair friendly, in fact it's pet stroller friendly as well. I came with my puppy as well as my sister did with her senior dog and they were both in strollers and we had no issues navigating throughout the outside patio.
Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. Bar service is always great too!Food: 5/5
The food was pretty standard in taste and portions were really nice. Service was quick. The outdoor deck offers a great view and chill vibes. The seating is first come first served which is totally understandable except for the woman who approached my husband and I and asked if she could sit with us which we declined— for context, the tables seat 4 about a 4.5’ long. This would be elbow to elbow which is not socially acceptable to just assume everyone would be comfortable with sitting this way with a stranger. We waited for a table like everyone else, but this lady just assumed that she doesn’t have to wait and can hijack my table? So weird and inconsiderate. Kinda was a turn off for us.
We had 2 lobster rolls. Yes I know, oink oink! At $40 each we thought that they would finally satisfy our lobster roll cravings. Too expensive, for the cafeteria style service for starters. Bun soggy, 8 oz of lobster smothering a bed of equally soggy lettuce. Mostly tail meat making it a challenge just to chew the tough little chunks enough to allow for swallowing. The fries were the highlight of this wildly overpriced concoction. We won't be back!
Dinner this evening was amazing, great service, food cooked to order, fast and best meal we have had this vacation! Friendly, professional staff and great atmosphere sitting outside by the water. Will definitely be back. Fried clams - huge portion and cooked perfectly. Lobster was sweet and delicious, poke bowl was also generous size, huge shrimp and delicious. . Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere, great view of water and boats kept kids entertained. Dietary restrictions: Even gluten free option for one fsmily member
There is a huge gift shop here that I visited. It has the basic merchandise. There cafe's pastries looked good .
