I’ve only been a member for about a month but I find the gym to be super welcoming. They have all types of equipment you might need and the staff is super nice. The front Desk people are always kind and available to answer any and all questions and the owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. It makes you feel like your part of a family like you’ve belonged there all along.
Freakin sweet gym! Lots of equipment!! Super nice chiropractor on site
I just love my membership at The Gym & Tan-Line Studio. It's close and convenient to where I live. The staff there is great. All the members there are friendly and the equipment are always clean!
This gym is amazing! The staff is awesome and willing to help. People here care about your progress and offer several ways for you to get healthy. Classes are great. The owners are super personable and care about all their customers. Love this place!
Absolutely love this gym and recommend for anyone in the area! The owners are the nicest and most welcoming people. They have equipment for all types of workouts; cardio, strongman, powerlifting, bodybuilding, personal training, group training, it''s got everything covered and I probably forgot some. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and try it out!
The best gym I've ever been to!! A new owner took over a year ago and has really turned it up a notch! Super friendly staff, a separate workout room for those who like to lift heavy, tanning beds, a masseuse and a new studio with classes that you won't find anywhere else! And a free Sunday class every week!! No gym has the variety that this gym has. On top of the regular equipment in all gyms, they also have boxing equipment, rings, monkey bars, tires, sleds, slosh pipes, atlas stones and much more! You'll be able to add a lot of variety to your workouts and their personal trainers are awesome!!! And did I mention the 2 week free trials they give so you can try out the gym before you join?!?
Lived in Montgomery county for upwards of 6 years looking for an establishment like this. This gym is not for the LA fitness type. It has that mom & pop feel, patron encouragement and recognition, you're a part of a community when you sign that dotted line. The owners acknowledge my wife and I each time we walk in the doors. There is a wonderful variety of old school bar standard lifting equipment, the usual cardio equipment but then... you travel into the back or the speed & conditioning room and you're blown away. They have conventional speed and conditioning equipment weighed sleds, ladders, etc but they also have modernized gym equipment used for the guys and ladies and kids even, I've seen kids classes that are awesome! that truly want to push themself to better that time, increase that lift, or decrease that pound. The place is utterly amazing!
So extremely disappointed with my membership and the way the management female owner treated a new customer on their very first day. Signed up for a three month membership and 45 minutes into my first day at the gym after a warm-up I was told I couldn’t even use the other half of the gym with the Olympic weightlifting platforms, which was the sole purpose I signed up for this gym. They blatantly stated that the CrossFit hours were posted in the front of the gym, but how am I supposed to know that I’m not allowed to use that side of the gym upon signing up. The owner lied about the situation to the other co-owner and made it all my fault for not knowing and being on the wrong side of the gym. The management did not handle the situation professionally, and I am so disappointed that they didn’t consider telling me when I first signed up I wouldn’t be able to use that side of the gym... if one signs up for a membership, there should be a walk-through with each one of the new members going over these rules so I don’t waste an hour of my day not being able to work out, your staff or your management doesn’t take the time to think through telling new members these cut in stone rules.. After listening to the way the female owner coached the CrossFit classes I was even more disgusted by her lack of attention to beginners, and harsh comments throughout their work out. Being a CrossFit level one instructor myself I know how these classes should be run. The membership is fairly cheap for what you’re offered in the gym for not for the price to be treated and spoken like “your membership is not as important as the cross fitters membership.”
