Great biker bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Red was really nice. Perfect place for a quick bite and a beer. Plus, they have live music on the weekend! Couldn't ask for a better place!Food: 5/5
Handlebar had good reviews online so we were excited about trying it out. It's a cool little dive bar for bikers that is supposed to have great food. But I found the cheeseburger dry and without flavor. Which was disappointing because I really wanted to like this place. The service was nice and it's in an old gas station which is kind of cool but I was disappointed by the quality of the cheeseburger. They weren't very busy, and there were several other places on that Route 66 Corridor in Amarillo that had lots more traffic and one even had live music while we were driving past. Next time we'll try one of the other locations.
If you ever travel Rout 66 through Amarillo you have to stop at The Handle Bar and Grill. Jessica was her name and..... her service and personality locked us down. We had so much fun!!Food: 5/5
This place is perfect. The picture is the bloody Mary and it was definitely worth the drive over. Service was excellent and the crowd was a good mix. Definitely a regulars type place so if you're in the area I recommend going often and making friends.
Amarillo, Texas —- The “Handle Bar and Grill” is a “Run-A-Way Bill” Favorite for many reasons. For starters, it’s located on Historic Route 66. Another reason is it’s in a vintage gas station building. Next, it’s an independently owner/operated business - SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL INDEPENDENT BUSINESS! Then there is the food. I know this should be 1st on my list of reasons, but the reasons mentioned 1st got me in the door. The food will get me to return. I like the menu selections, and the Saturday/Sunday only breakfast menu. My tacos were tasty-riffic! The counter/bar seating is always a “Run-A-Way Bill” Favorite seating option. Lots of atmosphere/flair ... the original Texaco sign, nice neons, window-views of Route 66, indoor table seating for folks with pARTy Pals, and then plenty of outdoor seating facing Historic Route 66. “Run-A-Way Bill” was here! .... and will return! 02.04.21
The inside of the bar was warm from lack of an A/C. The Cuba Libre and my burger were good, but my tots were overcooked.Food: 3/5
Delicious food and wonderful service!

I ordered through UberEats. Quick and convenient. Fresh ingredients and a huge burger.
Best chicken fried steak I've had in a long time! Loved it!
