Located in beautiful Prince Edward County! We are an old barn that does live music, Dj's, weddings and events of all kinds. We run a shuttle bus, too. OPEN MAY LONG WEEKEND UNTIL HALLOWEEN WEEKEND. WEEKENDS ONLY.

The Hayloft Dancehall is a historic barn in a scenic spot, on the shores of Lake Ontario.The Hayloft has been a rite of passage for local residents- carrying with them great stories and fun memories spanning over decades! The bar has been open for 47 years hosting weddings, dance parties and bands. The new Hayloft Dancehall is a live music venue bringing the success of The Dakota Tavern to beautiful Prince Edward County!

This old barn, turned into a performance centre is a great destination, well worth the drive through the darkness that is Prince Edward County at night. There was seating at tables for about 80 people and standing room for 80 more. My girlfriend had treated three of us to a burlesque show without really knowing what it was about. The performers from Toronto put on a good show in the chilly barn. The bar staff were efficient and the on site BBQ was tasty but expensive. I hope they can book more live acts in 2022
Wow! What an amazing experience : I went for a drag show last week and had the time of my life. The food was great, we got the mixed different pulled meats beans I think some slaw was in there dinner for 2 but it fed 4 of us. The atmosphere is really on point and just all round a good time. A super welcoming staff and friendly environment in general. I can't wait to go to an event here when covid is actually done with and do some dancing!
It's a great venue for music another events. I was there for the Downey Henjack fundraiser 2 years ago.There is a fully functional bar and a food vendor which served some great dishes.It has a rustic charm and warm environment. No matter where you are you are close to the entertainment.
The Hayloft is an incredible venue run by the most wonderful people! I highly recommend every one check out one of their fabulous shows as soon as possible!
Went for a drag show and the barn party! Amazing time and a great show! So proud of the county for being so ‍‍friendly and inclusive! Gorgeous spot, lots of parking, has an ATM incase you forget cash. Also serves food, and has vegitarian options! Cabs come quite often and the new option in the county with the app URIDE is a great option! Will be back forsure !!!
Really fun time last night with Serena Ryder. We won the tickets in the Mowhawk kids summer camp fundraiser. Great hosts Ben and Marijke and fun fun atmosphere. Go on Saturday afternoons for live entertainment with Jordan Thomas.
So fun! Went for a bachelorette party and ended up going on a night of a drag show, which was awesome. Only negative was the incredibly rude DJ who wasn’t very good but all the other staff were very good!
We had so much fun at The Hayloft for the Icesis Couture Drag & Dance Party Extravaganza! Really cool venue and high quality entertainment.
The bar itself was a great time. The layout is really cool. The bartenders were great and super fast serving drinks. The band was having a great time and you could tell the crowd was feeding off their energy. The buzz kill was the bouncers. For some reason they felt entitled to police everything that was going around them. I understand they have a job to do but there are ways to go about it and they were very unprofessional.
Great atmosphere and fantastic burlesque show. We had a wonderful time.
