Shawn is an excellent worker. I was looking for a faucet and I knew they had some in stock but I couldn’t find it. I walked around the entire store looking for someone and the only person who helped was Shawn. He grabbed a staircase and was able to find the faucet I needed, he didn’t give up! Other people would’ve told me “no sorry” but Shawn was very helpful.
Tried curbside pickup for an outside screen door and the young lady asked me to do it because it was too heavy for her!!! I'm in my sixties lol their work ethics of the kids of today are so different from my generation
We had the pleasure of being helped by Donnell with our linoleum floors. He was very patient with assisting us and made some recommendations for additional materials we needed. We greatly appreciate his assistance and expertise.
Had a very terrible experience with the customer service representative charlotte. I never would have thought today out of the times I go to the Avon Home Depot I would receive an attitude for asking to speak to a manager. Charlotte did not try to understand the problem I was having and why I needed to speak with their manager “Paul”. I simply wanted to know if I was possible to receive a discount on ship lap paneling that had significant mold on it that would require prep work to restore. She did not let me speak to a manager and also stated that my ask was “dumb”. This show a lack of proper training. I will be heading to Lowe’s now unfortunately to buy 40 panels of ship lap. Thank you Avon homedpot for making my experience more worse than it needed to be.
So the last 3 times I went here I went to buy some romex wire, it literally took me 40 minutes to find someone to cut the wire the length I needed. Then I took another 15 minutes for the guy to figure out what The wire costs. Then I went to self check out because that was the only option. It was five dollars a foot it was written on the wire. How to get someone to help me punch in the numbers because it was hand written. So some manager came and took the wire to go find the guy that it took me a half an hour to find to price it correctly. I said the price is right there it’s very expensive five dollars a foot. I told the lady manager that I was there for 45 minutes to an hour just trying to get the wire to the checkout counter. No you haven’t been here that long. So I walked out with all my wire. Today I go Sunday, May 14 to Home Depot again in Avon and shop for 45 minutes, then go to check out wrong about 65 items up small things like connectors for Romax other things gas fittings. So then The machine wouldn’t take my bills after I put a couple $20 bills in there. the bill was $363. So the lady watching me check out comes over check to see if anything was stuck or anything nothing was stuck she shut the machine down and said go check in over there to the check out cashiers, after I was just there for 20 minutes waiting to pay for my stuff. I’ve about had it with this Home Depot . So once again I left with all my stuff after spending an hour and a half inside of Home Depot again. Very frustrating.
After waiting about 20 min for a sales associate to help me with mini blinds, after asking customer service to page someone 2x, I was able to purchase a 70”white mini blind. Once installed I saw that 1 slat is off white and very noticeable . Unhappy customer
I have been an account holder for a long time and I most often receive good service. If a sales person can't help you, most managers can. If you pay on time, they will review periodically and increase your spending line of credit.
The tool rental department at this store is a complete joke. The tools are always in poor condition. If not broken the service is always horrible. If it is even staffed, they never ever have enough staff members in the rental department 90% of the time that I go there I have to leave and go to Brockton because there’s 10 people in line and only one person servicing them. You must check all aspects of your equipment before leaving even if the machines turn on make sure all of the parts of the machine engage because they’re probably broken.
If it wasn't for the employees, I certainly wouldn't get my daily punch list completed!! That's Why I'm a customer.. The Employees Thank you All on the South Shore Stores!!!!
