Cool place! Every singer you love is probably here. Thousands of tapes, CDs, and vinyls. Guitars signed by tons of famous artist's. Lot's of T-shirts. In a way it's heaven for people who love music.

Very Great! Same As It Has Been For Years. They have Almost Any Music, AND Can Find It Almost Instantly.

Took my daughter there for first time as we were visiting from Florida I grew up in Rochester, hop hop She can't wait to come back next summer to rummage thru the downstairs treasures!

Great and iconic location with a slightly chaotic sense of organization that's not nearly as bad as the rumors would have you think. Just be prepared to ask staff for specific items if that's what you're looking for. An absolute icon not just of music/music instrument stores but of Brick and Mortar locations in general. You haven't really supported music until you've been here at least once in your life.

Hadnt been there since 1978! Quadrupled in size but still had same great vibe. Got some tee shirts to bring back to TX. Most unique music store in the country, i believe

The place is amazing but kind of overwhelming. Obviously an iconic place of music history. However, I found so much jammed in here I could hardly climb over everything to enjoy window shopping.

What can I say about the Outstanding Shop. You walk in and you are like how in the world am I going to find what I am seeking. Well no worries, no hassle just ask because they are on top of it is a understatement because of the Vast and I mean VEST Amount of music they carry regardless of your music tastes you will sure they have it or can order it. The House Of Guitars is The House of Guitars®,Inc. is located in Rochester, New York and known as the “Largest Guitar Store in the World.” The store was started in 1964 by Bruce and Armand Schaubroeck out of the basement of their mother's home and quickly became famous for being the intersection of music, art and culture.

This place is a Legend all in its own. If you're a musician, it's a must do!!! If you're looking to become one, it's a must do!!! If you love music, it's a must do!!! OK, it's just a must do!!! Just take your time, look around at everything. I really mean EVERYTHING Enjoy your trip.

Such a cool & historical place!! Tons of known Artists such as Green Day, Jimmy Page, Metallica, and more have been here at one point or another to sign the HOG wall or even some merch! The vinyl and cd room is enormous you could spend forever in there.
