The best dive bar this side of anywhere. Excellent music, great beer, good people. Wednesday open mic is one of the best in the area. Kid-friendliness: No admittance under 21 this is a good thing

Update. Sept. 2023 The House Pub is open again and better than ever!! Wow! Bigger, better, remodeled bathrooms and everything! Holy Cow! There is a God after all. Now I don't feel so bad suspecting the Bears are going to start the season 0 - 4. Stop by. This is my favorite bar by a WIDE margin. I'm almost reluctant to write this because I don't want other people to know about this bar, but with this virus thing, I know Steve the owner and his guys are going through a rough time and need help. So...once they reopen, PLEASE visit this bar, pull up a seat and enjoy yourself. Live music is available Thursday to Saturday and it's usually the blues. This place is a little hard to find, but truly worth it.

Great friendly atmosphere. The bartender was attentive even though I was only drinking water, that's unusual in most bars. I went on an open mic night and played a couple of songs with a friend, I haven't played out in 15 years and felt comfortable even through the flailing first song..lol! Everyone was so kind and encouraging..I'll definitely be back!

Hands down one of my favorite places to go to! Incredible beer list, fantastic music. Dive bar with so much character and eclectic life.. I've gone there many times alone and have never had better conversations with random people. But that's just me. It never disappoints me.

My favorite place to grab a beer. The selection is the best around and the bartenders know their beer. The live music is also a nice draw. Always great musicians and vocalists. The weekends are filled with fun music and a great crowd.

It's a great live music bar with a wide selection of craft brews. There is also a top golf game and foosball table for additional entertainment! On Fridays and Saturdays there is an additional lounge on the second level with a special selection of delicious mixed drinks! One of the best bars in St. Charles.

The bartenders always surprise me with what kind of beers I like. I love going here because every time I try some sort of crazy beer and I LOVE IT. sometimes there is a cover charge for the band, which is only 5 bucks but it's ok for the venue. Can get kinda loud too but other than that this bar is awesome.

Hidden gem in St. Charles! The bartenders love of beer shines through of the rotating beer selection. It is easy to come in for 1 and end up staying all night! If you want a grown up place with amazing beers, knowledgeable bartenders that are fun loving Beer Enthusiasts, then this is your place!

Great choice of craft beers on tap. Many more bottled craft beers. The place has a nice feel. It's comfortable. Has live music on the weekends and many weekdays too. Music is mosly quality local acts. Can be crowded on weekend nights.

Tiny place, only serves drinks, no food but some popcorn. I think there's 6-7 tables, mostly on the upper floor or you can belly up to the bar. The beer list is pretty extensive and something for everyone. They have live music which is great.
