I pride myself on being one Doctor who spends 30-60 minutes with my patients and does all of the Integrative Rehab work on my own. I start with looking at the muscle function and fixing the problem within those areas (adhesions, scar tissue, inflammation, etc). Next, I concentrate on fixing the bio-mechanics of the joints throughout the kinetic chain so that the skeletal and musculature systems can work together symbiotically as they were designed. Lastly I use Physical Therapy Modalities/Exercises to strengthen the changes that were just made earlier. I then send you home with homework to continue the movement forward while you are not with me and give you ideas of why these injuries keep on happening so that you may change them.
Please stop yourself and your friends from going to a clinic that only adjusts your joints, and does nothing for the muscle that is pulling it back out. Or a clinic that spends a few minutes with you and then asks you to come back a huge number of times so they can finally get your body to understand it is supposed to be a certain way. The body needs integrative care to heal properly and quickly.
