Super friendly and accommodating staff. There's a ever changing variety of things to choose from to paint depending on your budget. My mom and I went in and painted mugs, they were ready within a week. We loved how everything turned out and can't wait to go painting again! 10/10 Would do again.
Great place! Love the paint fee for unlimited time, so many bisque options, calm relaxing environment. Pete, the owner, was great too! Can't wait to go back!
Awesome place. Fun for all ages! I would recommend this to anyone. I've been there for girls nights, family parties, and even a date his beer stein is amazing. The owner is wonderful. He is always willing to help you in any way and if he doesn't know the answer he is calling his wife within a second. He goes above and beyond what you would expect. Prices are good. There are many pieces to choose from with a variety of prices $5-$45. Only one studio fee per visit per person; which means tons of pieces in one visit! I could be at this place everyday and have something new and exciting to paint! I can't wait to go back.
such an awesome place for kids and adults! lots to choose from too. the owners are super friendly along with their amazing staff. they even clean up your mess and bring everything to you so you don't even have to move. definitely a place for everyone to check out! oh and you can bring your own wine while you paint!
I accidently spent three hours here painting piece after piece because I felt so at home! It was nice because I only had to pay the one studio fee, despite having painted multiple pieces. Then less than a week later, I got my pieces back and they turned out gorgeous! They truly looked like they were dipped in liquid glass!
Such a fun place with a low-key vibe! My 15-year-old daughter and I gladly travel the 20 miles each way just to hang out, paint something fun, meet some very cool people, and have some mom-daughter time, as often as we can! Always worth the trip!
Update: The owner contacted me as can be seen in his reply to my original post. I called him and he was very apologetic about my experience. I greatly appreciate his concern and he has rectified the situation. I am looking forward to visiting his store again. Original: Today was my first visit and I wanted something inexpensive but useful for my first attempt. My granddaughter and I had a good time and I was thinking that I would be back. However when I paid, I was told that the item was $16 not the $8 that the sign said. First, I would not have paid $16 for this item. Second, there were other things I would have selected if I had wanted to spend that much. Additionally, the clerk made a comment that implied that I should have known that it cost more. I could not make sense of the pricing and I think that the person tagging items should have noticed if it was so obviously incorrect. If I ever return, I will verify the price first.
The staff was very helpful with tips on painting my masterpiece! Initially, I wanted to dip my mug into a vat of sparkled black paint, similar to my attitude that day dark on the inside, with glamorous sparkling moments, but they suggested something more life changing. I suspected the reason is similar to the story of Achilles, and how his mother had dipped him into the river Styx. She had to hold him by his heel and created a weak spot in his invulnerability; similarly, I would have had to hold my mug by the handle causing a potential weak spot, as well! Silly me, the handle is fairly critical in mug designs, otherwise you've only got a cup. And only Philistines drink coffee from a cup! And it would be inefficient to make another mug with only the handle dipped and try to fuse together an invulnerable cup and handle. Anyways... I have never paint pottery before and they gave great insights and visions of the infinite possibilities I could paint on my simple mug. I could go with a brown interior to hide any coffee residue that I find to laborious to clean between my caffeine fixes; or abstract with throwing paint off the brushes to vent frustrations while I think of when my coach sat me in little league baseball when I was clearly better than his son THERE'S A HOLE IN BRAD'S SWING, COACH TED! My spirits have been lifted with a magical time at this wondrous establishment, great for kids, great for adults, great those young at heart! 10 out of 10, 5 stars and who has two thumbs and will go back the moment his wife isn't embarrassed with him in public... This guy
This is the friendliest and most fun place I have been to in a long time! Pete, his wife, and staff are always smiling and happy to help you in any way they can! I love coming in and painting, now if I could get them to outline all my pieces for me to paint, I would be so happy! Lol just kidding, Pete!
My son and I visited quite a while ago for son's 7th birthday. Pete, the owner, was amazing with my kiddo! We keep meaning to go back, but unfortunately poor health has prevented it. Stay awesome, Pete!
