Had a great breakfast. The french toast was amazing. Our server Anne Marie was very attentive. She waremd up our syrup and kept the coffee flowing. The fresh squeezed orange juice was refreshing. i enjoyed my seasoned homefries with onions. My mom said the creamed chipped beef was delicious. This was my first time visitingThe Kitchen but not my last. We found a new breakfast place in OCMD!!
My family and I love to have breakfast here whenever we visit OC! The food is fantastic and the service is professional. It can get extremely busy with guests waiting for an open table. But still worth every bit of the experience. And oh! Also - clean bathroom for guest : We hope to visit again and again! Please keep up the excellent food and quality service! Kid-friendliness: Good selection for kids on the menu. Yum!
Terrible. First time here. Last time I’ll visit. Kitchen staff observed handling food onto plates without gloves. Waitress was rude and not friendly. My order of steak and eggs was brought out with a pile of bacon in place of the steak. Servers excuse is she didn’t know they were out of steak and didn’t want me to not have any food. Kitchen should have communicated with the server immediately that they couldn’t fill the order and not wait until all the plates were being delivered to the table. Lastly, we ordered two large freshly squeezed orange juices. We were served two small plastic cups with lids. Meanwhile, tables around us were served large real glasses of orange juice. Server then argued we were served large orange juices but begrudgingly took the bill back to change the billing from large to medium orange juices. My plate without steak wasn’t charged, but this was still an awful experience.
I found The Kitchen looking up good places to eat in OC when planning a little roadtrip I took a couple of weeks ago because it has such a good reputation from the reviews here. So, I stopped by and enjoyed a good breakfast. Currently in the Beehive State, I decided to try the omelet with scrapple because, of course it's a very regional take on pork. The omelet was very well prepared and just about the right portions. The scrapple in the omelet was interesting and was also well-prepared as were the home fries accompanying the omelet. It was pretty quiet that morning, but it was still off-season, but the server who serviced my table did well to ensure I was taken care of and that my meal was done right. The price point is good, especially given OC is a touristy area and has very easy access from the pier and lower boardwalk...just as long as you don't mind the walk. If I go back out to OC, I will very much come back for breakfast.
The Kitchen offers great Breakfast. Pancakes with syrup, ham omelette with cheese was excellent.Service was spot on. It's kinda cramped on the inside. Tables are close together to get more people into the Restaurant. Plenty of good choices on the menu.Food: 5/5
Let’s start with the positives, our sever was great! Very friendly and overall delightful. However I would say I would try and stay away from the old lady server that works there. As we were sitting enjoying our meal she chased a customer out yelling about how she called her late. The overall experience was good along with the food however take into consideration what you say or you might be chased out by an old crazy lady.
This place was recommended to us by someone that comes to Ocean City often and I’m so glad we went. The food was delicious and came relatively quickly for how many people were at the restaurant. Our server messed up our order a bit since she didn’t write down what we wanted. However, she was quick to fix the mistakes when they were brought to her attention. I would definitely go back there again and suggest anyone in the area have breakfast here at least once. Parking: If you’re only eating at The Kitchen, parking in the lot next to there is free. If you’re going elsewhere, you have to pay to park.
After a bad experience at another restaurant for breakfast where we left without even getting food and taking us past normal breakfast hours, this place was a dream come true. All day breakfast is just what we were looking for. The service was amazing. We were seated quickly and the waitress was attentive and personable. The food was priced fairly and was absolutely delicious! All three of our meals were cooked perfect and very tasty. Our waitress noticed the toast was a bit dark and had more made for us without being asked. The bus boy came to clear plates while I was still eating which I know rubs some people wrong, but the tables are small and he was polite and friendly. Also, to be honest I appreciate the efficiency and attentiveness. I really enjoyed this experience and will be happy to come back again. Thank you to all the staff who helped make it an enjoyable experience!
Food was excellent! Freshly squeezed OJ was worth the price. Kids ate everything eggs and french toast/pancakes which is rare! Bacon perfectly cooked. Grilled chicken sandwich sub was not what I was expecting I was thinking more along the cheesesteak line, but was probably better than the cheesesteak would've been. No lack of meat. Genesis was an awesome waitress. Restaurant was very clean. A must visit!
The staff here were quite inviting and friendly. We actually visited twice in one week. The food tastes great the menu offers classic breakfast items. The location is very convenient at the boardwalk. Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old son enjoyed his meal but he didn't order from the children's menu.
