After doing some research and also receiving recommendations throughout the community I had a consultation with Mr. Owens in regards to my case.  After about an hour of discussing the case he gave me the best case scenario as well as the worst case.  But he was extremely confident in the case and his skill set. Getting a DUI causes a lot of initial stress and a lot of unforeseen costs.  After calling dozens of attorneys I felt Mr Owens was suited me best for what i needed.  He was able to come up with a payment plan to help relieve some of the initial stress, i didnt have to go to a single court date, file any paper work, he did it all.  I cant imagine how stress-full the situation would have been without him, he made it easy as hell. Mr. Troy P. Owens has had poor communication with me, the client, in regards to my case. It has been four months now with several attempts on my behave to find out the status of my case. I have tried via phone, email and in person office visits, which all have yield no response from Mr. Troy P. Owens. My next course of action will be to file a complaint with the San Diego County Bar Association. I would not recommend this Law office to any one.

Very trustworthy and efficient. A group of us reached out to Troy for advice on corporate legal matters. We felt that a large and reputable corporation had broken a written contract. Troy reviewed the facts and promptly responded to our questions. I'd definitely recommend his law offices to anyone seeking good legal representation.

Troy is a rare jewel, he provides upfront excellent service and honesty, which are two traits hard to find in  lawyer.  He goes above and beyond for his clients and works with you regardless of your circumstances.

Do not hire him.  I had a bit of a complicated DUI case and I was extremely upfront with him about it.  He was very enthusiastic at first and said he would handle getting my DUI classes and Volunteering transferred to another state when I had to suddenly move, and get my driver's license unsuspended in CA based on my completing everything the court ordered.  The second he got the payment that HE CAME UP WITH he was totally unresponsive.  I had to get in touch with the court and they told me he had not provided them with what they needed, and when I told him that he was so rude and asked for more money.  I had to hire another attorney and basically start all over.  Save your money and hire someone else.
