The Lazy Daisy Cafe

So glad we found this hidden little gem in Newmarket! The reviews and pics looked good on Google so we decided to check it out and so glad we did. So many breakfast and lunch options, we couldn't decide. The double decker Monte Cristo sandwich with real ham not processed was so delicious! My friend loved her breakfast burrito. Can't wait to come back and try something different on the menu. Just wish they were open later for dinner too. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu offered

Great little family run spot in Newmarket. Eggs Benny cooked perfectly and the crispy chicken was Delish. Potatoes have a great spice to them and everything super fresh

It is a hidden gem for wonderful breakfasts at the unexpected corner. As a big fan of Elpida coffees, it is very lovely to see local businesses promoting each other. With very tasteful and generous foods and super friendly staffs, only downside, somewhat irrelevant to the Lazy Daisy Cafe itself, is parkings which are very limited.

Service and staff were great, super friendly and it was really nice that our server would check in on us from time to time to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The restaurant was cute and reminded me of a cute small diner, a rare find especially in the suburbs. Food was good, nothing fancy since we just ordered the typical basic breakfast with eggs, toast and bacon/sausage. Pricing was average and the place was clean. Would definitely come back again if I'm ever in the area.

Really nice unexpected breakfast spot! It’s in a bit of an industrial area but it’s close to the highway and not too out of the way. Really good customer service, great food and huge portions!

I’ve worked down the road from this place for years… I just recently tried it out and oh man was I ever missing out. Their food is so fresh and always SO delicious. They always change their specials so it helps you make a choice on what to try, their ingredients/toppings are always fresh and compliment the meal perfectly. I would recommend this place to anyone, it truly is a hidden gem!! To top it off, the staff and environment is so welcoming and cozy. This is my go to lunch spot now :

Great hidden gem in Newmarket. You wouldn’t think a cafe like this would be in the location that it is tho! Service was great. Sweet potato fries were AMAZING. The butternut squash soup was perfect too. First breakfast spot I’ve been to where the fruit wasn’t all oxidized or mushy. Will be returning.

Went there with a friend today for our 1st time and it won't be my last. Such a cute clean restaurant, sweet people and great food. Prices and food portion are amazing. I'm so happy I came here and will for sure come back. Sorry no pics but I cleaned my plate.

Seeing the good reviews, we came here once early this year with very high expectations and the place was packed. So we made reservations this time, and was a bit annoyed that when we arrive the owner/waiter denying he has record of our reservation. As there was a table about ready to leave. After a few minutes of waiting we were able to be seated. The food was ok but probably our expectations were too high, we feel it doesn't match the average 4.8 rating. Parking: Limited parking space.
