Started off really good but then i got a change of duty stations as i am military and had to move 1,000 miles away. So i canceled my classes only 2 classes due to my move. Then i was charged for the classes because they claimed i never canceled. I sent my orders and class cancelation sheet over but never heard a word about it until i went to reapply to a college. My emails show otherwise and they refuse to let me show them as i cant access my school account. They were nothing but rude and that dude Miles should be fired asap. Its been two years dealing with this and i Finally just paid it so i can continue my education. Hope yall enjoy the federal lawsuit coming your way.
Both my wife and I have received our A.S. degree from here. It is an excellence school and we love our experience here. I got my degree in Physics in 2019 and my wife got her degree in Biology in 2018. We both had been to other schools before and know full well these complaints from these young high schooler is nothing new to any schools. College is about personal responsibility and they are not going to hold your hand and give you a degree because you show up. You need to earn it with hard work. I did mine while serving full time in the military, if I can do it anyone can do it no matter how much they want to say they can't make time from work. It is a beautiful college that make it very easy for you to get into Rowan University, Rutgers, and Such. Your Future is secure if you come here. My wife is now going to Medical School in VA and I am finishing up my Physics B.S. at Liberty University. I also got a Ph.D. position line up for Engineering at Liberty and a Master at John Hopkins. The low cost here allow us to save a lot of money. Don't go to big universities your first two years and get scam out of your mind. Look at these Picture of our time at RCBC.
The relatively low cost of tuition does not outweigh the carelessness and ignorance of the administrators. I e-mailed an administrator six times trying to figure out some important information regarding my classes and to get my problem solved, and when I finally got an answer it was her telling me that the school was closed and to message her on google meets if I "truly had an issue". Mind you, I sent the first of the six emails before the school had closed for break, so there was more than enough time to solve my problem or even just send me a reply. Also, the message she sent me was clearly not an automated one, so instead of answering my extremely important questions, she brushed me off and sent me a super general email. Beyond unprofessional, and the frustration is not worth it for the money you spend here. I simply would NOT recommend this school to ANYONE who wanted to get a higher education. Paying out of county rates would be more beneficial for a better education than coming here.
If you care about your mental health don’t go here. They lied about having a cafeteria, so students paid tuition not knowing they couldn’t get a meal at school. Super disorganized and a mess with covid, a shame because some professors are good. I made over 4 appointments last semester with financial aid and “walk up” advisors. First of all you will wait an hour or more and they don’t let you schedule in advance. Filled out homeless paperwork the first day of classes in fall for my fasfa. The FA department emailed me after they didn’t answer my 6+ attempts to contact them this summer then sent me an email about how they’d mail me a paper with some questions. Homeless means I didn’t have a house to send a letter too After my second meeting they assured me I was all set, I filled out the papers. That my AID package would be available in a week. Next month nothing was showing up so I went back. They apologized and said the lady was out for a month, said definitely next week. This happened again and again until a Thanksgiving where I was told I couldn’t apply for the FASFA because I needed all types of documents that I asked about the first day of classes. Got a rude email from the FA guy a day later. Don’t go to RCBC these people just want your money, and if you don’t have it they treat you like a dog.
After reading some other reviews I have to agree getting started was an absolute pain. Depending on what day you go to see someone for admissions, financial aid, and register for classes you could be there the whole day. Signing up for a tour would your best bet. Once when your done with the hard part of getting started, college life is fun. So far my professors are nice and pleasant. They have many different clubs and fun activities going on on campus. They also offer free tutoring, access to a food pantry, and free counseling for anyone struggling with mental health. Overall I really am enjoying my time here and I'm happy about my choice in attending this college. I'd give them 5 stars if it wasn't such a hassle to get started. Oh yeah and dont sign up for an online class if you can avoid it.
Beautiful college! Nicely furnished. All of the professors I've encountered have been excellent.
This school has really ruined my college experience. They have given me nothing but a hard time since I was trying to register while in high school. Advisors did not provide any help and only discouraged me because I told them I had to work while in school. I have to pay for it somehow. This past semester I dropped a class online and they ignored my request and are now making me pay for it! I do not wish to pay for a class I am not ready to take. I work two jobs and do not have time for all the hoops they make you jump through. They need to be more understanding of every students personal choices.
The professors I had were okay but I ended up getting a degree I didn't care for because there isn't really a good selection of majors to choose from that are interesting and/or tangible to achieve.
So far I have no complaints , I'm very happy to be a baron.
My Sociology professor by far was one of the most horrible professors I've ever had to deal with. He had limited knowledge of connect and refused to work through the several technical issues with connect. His syllabus did not match the connect assignments leaving you not to know which set of work to complete. I emailed him several times asking for clarification and he decides to reply back the very last week of the course with a very vague response taking no responsibility for his error and the fact it left students with no credit on assignments. I received nothing below a 90 in all my classes but somehow got a low grade in the easiest course that exist so obviously this professor doesnt care about his students. He just slaps connect assignments on the black board and goes on with his life.
