Love the rooftop patio with a view of downtown with live music...incredible! Food is really good too but we have to work to get someone to take are order sometimes
Really cool low key music venue. Small enough to be intimate and awesome. Big enough to get real loud and rock out when necessary. I've been to bluegrass duos here and had some nice cocktails, sitting at my table, and I've been to Tool cover bands and jammed hard, head banging at the front of the stage. Drinks were reasonably priced, the place is not full of jerks, and its clean. The rooftop patio may be one of the best in fort worth. Not pretentious or super expensive. Plenty of seating and lots of free music. Good evening ambiance too.
We've been there for concerts and the Music Hall is pretty good place to see a show. If it is a GA show and you want to sit, you might want to get there early as there will be a few seats around the perimeter but all else with be standing room. We've eaten in the dining room once. Better than average cheeseburger. Service was fine. Haven't tried the roof. They specialize in craft beers so if you drink All American swill, check your Born On date. Last time I was there, I had some 5 month old Bud Light. Ugh. The bartender was nice enough about it. No problem there. All and all, a nice place to see a show. Easy to get to from N. Arlington.
It just magical on the rooftop deck! The lights, trees, breeze and well poured drink make for a lovely ambiance. I have been to private movie screenings and CD release party in the intimate downstairs concert hall . All have been well done. The food has all ways been satisfying . I know they're working on the menu and am eager to see what they do with it. This is a new place and still working out the kinks but I think it has great potential.
It's a great venue for music, craft beer, wine and mixed drinks. The service isn't the best, but if you know what you want and are willing to order at the bar, you'll do fine. When the weather is nice, having a craft beer on the spacious and open rooftop bar is mandatory. There's even a smaller bar up there to serve you. When I take visitors here, they'll often come back on their own to sit on the rooftop.
I always have fun when I come here! The upstairs bar and patio is the best. Pefect for bridal showers & birthday parties!
Some of my favorite bands come through here, always enjoy the rooftop patio and the concert hall!
I've just kind of given up on this place getting its act together. While the service has always been spotty, they made up for it with enthusiasm, a pretty great food menu and lots of local beers. While I can't speak for their musical acts they seem to draw a pretty eclectic list and the view from upstairs is nearly unmatched, its just not enough any more. The menu now consists of only things you can make from the ingredients of a bacon-cheese burger. No joke. When we were there last Saturday, the band playing sounded like they were rehearsing for the first time. It took 30 mins to get our food order and two requests plus a trip to the bar to get our check. This isn't an anomalous experience but it is indicative of the trend unfortunately. I really hope they turn it around because this place could be a perfect 10. If you ask me, go there for a band you want to see and/or a drink upstairs. Otherwise, there's better service, food and experience elsewhere on Magnolia.
Very good food and decent alcohol prices. My most recent visit had some very poor service, but in the past it has been good.
They automatically closed my tab at 11:30pm because apparently last call is 12:00pm for just the upstairs patio section. That normally wouldn't be upsetting, except they also automatically add 20% gratuity it was just me and two other friends getting our own drinks! and then it took getting a manager to print a receipt adding 15 minutes longer to my stay there waiting around for a receipt. I give 2 stars because the upstairs patio is nice... The "price" and service was definitely was not.
