The Lost Breed Gym has embodied a new culture that feels new, and exciting. With the new equipment they have brought in, its created a better training facility for athletes and gym junkies alike. I have been coming to this gym for 10 years, well before it was The Lost Breed Gym, and I can assure the rebrand was MUCH needed. Not only have they created a much better culture to workout in, they enable creators and athletes we work with to grow their platform within their facilities. Excited to see what they do bringing new style lifting, music, and vibes to the heart of CT!
I am currently a member of this gym and was a member when it was WOW. The gym has been outfitted with many new equipment pieces and is being updated. All good. However, the music is being played at a decibel level comparable to a dance club. I asked it to be lowered a few notches and was basically ignored. I am not the only one who was complaining but I don’t know if anyone else complained to the management. I hope this is not a sign that the new owners are going to ignore the input from their current members!
After reading some recent reviews I would have to say I actually like the loud music! I work out better to it. Previous owner would play dentist office music!! What I don't like is how dirty the gym has become lately. A lot more people are coming here since new ownership. I hope new owners hire a cleaning crew soon. Also a lot of the treadmills don't seem to work. Otherwise it's a good gym with some new equipment.
The owners are rude. They interrupted my workout with the trainer due to some internal issue. One of the owners raised his voice to me when I asked him to wait until my workout was finished to have their discussion. Their friends are allowed to practice poor gym etiquette like repetitively slamming weights. The night club style playlist is so loud that I can hear it over my noise cancelling earbuds. They have improved some of the equipment.

Since new ownership, the music being played at this gym is CRAZY LOUD & awful. It's way too loud & it's the same music over & over. How about lowering the volume & changing it up a bit every day? There are different age groups in the gym, so try to respect everyone.
