Everything you ever wanted to know about nails, manicures, pedicures, acrylics and nail art. Hoping to enrich the perception of the nail career and attitudes of nail technicians, to create a lasting bonds with their clientele. There is so much more to the nail industry than beautiful nails and glitter. Hopefully my channel will inspire some diy nail tech's to become licensed. I began my career as a diy nail tech before I went to Cosmetology school to get my license. I did not have a community like YouTube or social media for support then. I relied on good old fashion hard work to build a strong foundation under me. I have been in the industry for 23 years and diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis the entire time. It has taken it's toll on my body. I have Degenerative Disk Disease, Facet Arthritis, Bone Spurs, Stenosis, Bulging Disks, Impinged Shoulder, Fused Collar Bone and a few more blah blah blah. The point is I want to teach you what you need to know before my body tells me I am out of time. I am a fighter because I have not let anything take my career or salon through all my surgeries. I will not give up even after the doctors told me I had to find another career. I do want to teach you how to take better care of your body than I did though! I live my life ignoring what my body is doing, my brain is thinking about nothing but nails! And my body better catch up!
I love my career! I serve my community, I love to help people look and feel their best. I feel proud, happy, productive and accomplished every day but my family and my faith are what complete me.
