One of the few true "corner bars" located in Hamilton Square. Stopped for after dinner drinks with friends on a Friday night. Place was newly renovated and still kept some of its historical charm and distinction. Place was clean, has a nice outdoor patio, plenty of parking in the back, beers were poured with a nice head, had 3 bartenders, which made bar service great. Bar was probably at 50% capicity with an median age of late 30's. I'd stop again when in town
I moved to the neighborhood and live close by. Just decided to stop by since they have a live band during summer Saturday. It was fun. A good mix of the local crowd. Also, being used to the NYC bars, this place was a steal. The drinks were well made, and not iced up.Atmosphere: 5/5
Overall good. Decent standard bar. Not a big beer selection. We sent back an order a burger didn’t have all the toppings and we ordered an appetizer that never came but they didn’t charge us. The food was hot and good.

Today's challenge is to find a place where both service and food & drinks are great. Nottingham Tavern is a hidden gem located in Hamilton, a small town of Central Jersey. Friendly and attentive service, chicken wings to die for go with the signature sauce, perfectly drafted Guiness beer and a shot of Jameson Irish. Fair prices is the icing on the cake. You can't get a better deal in that vicinity.
Very historic feel and charm. New outdoor seating is nice. Parking is a bit limited but definitely an enjoyable placeFood: 5/5
Fun and friendly neighborhood pub with darts. Bartenders know all the regulars by name and pour their drinks as soon as they walk in the door. I had fish and chips, they were as good as you'd get in a corner chip shop in England.
Great small pub feel, with The BEST fish and chips I've ever had. The waiter was spot on when I asked if the fish&chips were good. They did Not disappoint! My husband had the wings, as well as the cheessteak eggrolls. Beers and cocktails were great!!! It was very nice date night. We will defintely be visiting again soon!
This place has changed from the dark, stuffy, regulars only place to a fun, cool, neighborhood hot spot. Looking forward to seeing what the soon to open kitchen has to offer. Beautiful patio seating with yard games!! Two thumbs up!!
Celebrating my friend and colleague retirement. Love the open floor concept that allows people to have room to move about. Parking: Parking lot is very small. Which means get there early or plan on parking down the block.
