The folks running this park care about it and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They were very accommodating to us. A lot of the folks are there long term, but all of the folks we met were very nice. A lot of folks keep to themselves. The park is quiet. There are sites on the lake and with lake view. There is a pier and kayaks if you want. Some sites are a little small, but they have sites for all sizes of rigs. Some folks could keep their sites a little less cluttered. Good Verizon service. Gods AT&T service. If you aren’t under the trees Starlink works. Park WiFi was really only for checking emails, but I think it is overwhelmed. Laundry is nice and clean. Bathrooms were clean.
Clean, quiet, beautiful. Amazon delivers here, which was a wonderful surprise. Management is tip top, they seem to really be invested in keeping it nice. Views are priceless. The airport is tiny and not bothersome, and I think it’s neat to watch the planes. If you need to use internet a lot it’s best to consider satellite, I have a Starlink here and it works great. They have park WiFi but it can be slower when it’s busy. Having our own makes it just about perfect here.
A hidden gem. Absolutely beautiful lakeview and quiet...all of the sites are level and solid ground. The deluxe sites all have huge concrete patio pads and illuminated power hookups. The water pressure is great.. The park is maintained nicely and the management are wonderful. You can check out kayaks at the office and enjoy the lake or just relax at the big community fire pit near the lake. We enjoyed the stay so much we stayed for an extra month!
I came to the Outpost RV Resort and Park for three days over a month ago. I loved the place so much, I have just stayed. It is a beautiful, peaceful, neat, well kept and professionally managed park on a lovely lake. The managers, Jeff and Kathie, are friendly, helpful and accommodating.
2019/20 UPDATE: they have added about 30 new spaces. Many along the water, or water views. My fiver fits as well as the dually. It's going to be tight when full but everyone is nice and if you don't mind kids, it's lovely.
Our family has been here for about a month for work. We have loved it here! We have two kids under 7 so there is plenty of space for them to play outside safely, the views of the lake with the moss in the trees is beautiful! The wildlife such as the squirrels that always play around our camper and the ducks that are always playing in the water is a nice touch. There’s plenty of room at our campsite to make us feel comfortable and it’s nice & shady. I especially love the laundry facilities and how you can operate everything from an app on your phone, no more quarters! The price is very fair for Florida, so many places wanted to charge us a high rate plus charge for the kids so the Outpost is top notch in my eyes! Conveniently located within 5 miles of Walmart, grocery, shopping and a movie theater. We will definitely stay here if we are ever in the area again! The owners were always on site to help you if you needed anything!
They made us feel welcome and accommodated our future request for a space in Sept 2023 to October 2023. A bit rustic but had amenities of electric, water and sewer. Take out your own trash to bins Strictly a Rv, travel trailers and motorhomes.
Jeff and Kathie are great managers who really care about their customers. They try to really work with you and make you happy. The Outpost is a lakefront RV resort park and campground. It has WIFI, Kayaks, Fishing docks, and more! My wife and I were blessed to stay with them one month.
I have found my little piece of paradise! UPDATE: I lived here for 2 years and it changed so much that I left. The landscaping was removed and replaced with 60 RV spots. Too many people in and out who didn't respect this was my home. It went from a quiet, beautiful resort to just an ordinary campground with limited facilities and no amenities.
Stayed here for a week in January and loved it. The park is located across from a small airport. You get to see bi planes and sea planes flying every day, which our kids loved. The RV spots are spacious and the free use of kayaks is a great touch! We didn't mind all the rules as it keeps the park looking clean! A ton of RV sites have great views.

WARNING - STAY AWAY! Campsite is on a MAJOR highway, has an airport across the street, construction directly behind the campground and a train track down the road; definitely NOT a quiet campground. The pictures posted on their site are photochopped and are from the "best" location at the park - which is NOT available! Wifi does not work - constant buffering. Prices are ridiculous for this location; and they are increasing 1/2022. WATCH YOUR BILL - she overcharges; but be careful when you question her as she WILL attack you, instead of admit her mistakes. On record - initially overcharged $53 BEFORE check in, then had 1 guest stay 1 night and she tried to charge for 2 guests + 2 nights + 2 overnight vehicle fees (which there was no extra vehicle), then she tried to charge extra motorcycles fees. All in all, it was over $80 overcharge in 1 month; which would not have been caught or corrected without me questioning the charges! Her response, "You question EVERYTHING (screaming at me)" and in an email, "Just wondering if this is it??? Are you still going to change this again and again?" One overcharge is a mistake, twice MAY BE an accident; but 4 times? This is habitual. Something is NOT right here... I traveled 10,500 miles from 8/4/21 - 10/30/21 without one complaint or problem. This is BY FAR the WORST site I've stayed at with the WORST 'MANAGEMENT' (I use that term loosely) EVER! I would recommend searching nearby campgrounds, even if you have to travel a little farther; save yourself the DRAMA of the angry camp managers.
