It's an okay place to settle down. it's a little bit pricey on land rent considering other retirement areas in the immediate area. Amenities are pretty decent. They do have lots of events. One of the things that you should be aware of is that the water system is old and not designed for the number properties that the park had in it. This being said, when people drive where there not supposed to,it has better odds of breaking a line. It's usually only down for a minimal time but it does get quite annoying when it happens often. The community itself is very nice and quiet, if you are planning on moving into the park I would avoid moving close to the main roads as you will hear the traffic noise. This does have a fishing pond swimming pool, recreation room clubhouse with kitchen and shuffleboard courts. It is designed around retirees and events are planned accordingly. Overall since having lived here over 5 years I have to say that this is a very quiet nice place to live with a lot of different activities whether you are single or married a community events are also pretty decent. The only reason I gave this three stars and not five is because I think the senior management of the park is not completely aware of the main issues such as water, which in my opinion is pretty major. And they're more focused on area beautification rather than necessities. Although this is important, I feel that there are other priorities where money could best be spent. In addition to this I also think that the lot rent is a little bit higher than most around this area but again in my opinion having lived here for good amount of time it's a very safe neighborhood with almost zero crime as many of the tenants watch out for each other. Which brings us together as a community.
Tammy and Shawn have always been extremely helpful and accommodating to my mother while she has lived there. They always keep an eye on the residents and will stop in and check on them when patterns change in their social activities visiting with neighbors, going shopping, etc.. I am very thankful to them and the residents for watching out for each other. My mom misses the place very much, as she has moved to North GA now to be near family. We have had nothing but great things to say, as they have helped us move her as she was diagnosed with dementia and needed supervision. May God bless!
Unfortunately I live here after losing my home in Irma. Murex properties owns us which is the same company that owns Schalamar Creek and others. This park is an old park water goes off at least once a month if not twice because of bad pipes and stuff can't drink the water can't cook with it it's disgusting. Lot rent going up to $521 in January yes we have a pool yes we have a tiny club house with a pool table couple of treadmills but you got all walks of life here and it's not worth $521 a month and will be even more next January. There are actually felons and people under 55 with children when this is supposed to be a 55 and over Park.
I’ve been living here since September of 2016 With my husband of 33 Years and all of a sudden we get a notice saying that I’m an unapproved unauthorized tenant !! I was blown away I even worked for Tammy cleaning the homes that the maintenance men refurbished when they were complete and ready for sale!!! My mom lives two streets over and I know almost everyone in the park !!! This place is a joke ! I’m buying a house and getting the heck out of this prejudice filled park!!! My grand babies don’t deserve to be discriminated against I will NOT let that happen! Good riddance winter have mobile home community bashing party!!! Not on my watch
It's a nice Community I've lived here for 6 years There is a serious issue with the water in the community As a resident I wish they would address this issue, though Management seems to not want to address and resolve this issue.
I have lived here for 6 month. It is very peaceful and quite. I love the pool and am looking forward to meeting more people in our community.
It's a very nice place very clean kept up very well.
Is NOT pet friendly.
Nice quiet clean park, residents are not too friendly a bonus, there's a swimming pool, clubhouse, etc
Everyone was professional and kind. Hospital was very clean all staff we encountered were very nice and willing to help.
