I just wanted to share as an employee of The Park in Plano. I truly love the residents here and in my 17 years of nursing I’ve never felt a part of of family, a team as I have here. The families are amazing and understanding. The dept heads are involved and know what’s going on on the floor, Our Administrator Taylor and DON Mercia snd Admissions Linda are so involved and hands on with out residents and they’re families it’s truly amazing, they aren’t just desk staff they are all over the place and I love that! and the families appreciate that. I’ve been nothing but satisfied with my crew here. The residents & staff have been here for 10 to 20 years and that says and mean a lot to me & our daily tours. Love you guys. A wonderful place to establish care for your loved one, and a wonderful place to work at as an employee. New and improved paint, furniture, and management! The staff is incredibly sweet, kind, caring, and so helpful! The residents are precious and near and dear to our hearts and we treat patient care as top priority. I am pretty new here and have never felt more at home with a work FAMILY in any other position or company! Ten stars!!!
I ha e worked I'm the facility for 2 years now, and I have seen major improvements in care. Since new administrator Taylor has taken over the quality of staff has increased. The food coming out of the kitchen is delicious; I have watched the kitchen staff prepare and cook the food. The staff follows all sanitation guidelines i.e. hairnets gloves no cross contamination The shining star of the facility is the Therapy team. They are professional, well educated and kind. They truly care and want to help loved ones reach their maximum potential.
The Park in Plano is a small senior living facility that’s a great place to work! The residents are amazing and a true joy to take care of! The work environment is fun, enjoyable and it’s an overall great place to work! I LOVE my night shift crew
My mom has been here for about a year now. With the new mgmt we have both seen a lot of changes. She enjoys the activities and has a good connection with the staff. If something is going on with her they always call and let me know, the nurses have also been great and easy to talk to and follow up with me.
The four stars are physical therapy rehab they have an excellent program and excellent staff I'm sorry to say the rest of the facility needs a great great deal of improvement if you have your loved ones do not put them in this facility if you're outpatient or just physical therapy I don't think you will find a attentive attentive place. I was at this fascilaty and this is my expierance. Jack is awesome at his job..very hands and very attentive on any and all exercises explains very well all exercises before you get started. I give him 5 stars.
I came to the Park for rehab after having my right hip replacement. I didn't know what to expect, but I was introduced to all the staff that was responsible for my care. The therapists took very good care of me. Their job was to get me where I could get back to walking again and they did. The nurses that looked after you in your room were attentive to your needs . I had a great experience there.
I am a current resident at the park in plano. All the employees that work here are very dedicated to caring for each resident and have ecellent customer service. The staff that work here make this place a fun and great place to live at.
My sister has lived here for four years. She is physically handicapped but not mentally. She receives wonderful care. There are lots of social activities. The food is good. The building is older than most nursing homes in Plano but the staff is exceptional, from the front office, to the nurses, physical therapists, even the van driver! My sister has always received the correct meds, she sees the doctor regularly, has her blood checked, weight monitored, gets a shower 3x a week, her nails trimmed, haircuts, clothes laundered on site and she has a lovely roommate. Communication with family has been outstanding.
I have been working here for seven years. Yes we have had our ups and downs, but with the new owners and managements there has been a HUGE improvement! The residents love the new change in food especially all the different appetizers they get everyday. But not only the food has improved but also there has been an improvement in resident care which has been an issue in all nursing homes. COVID has taken a toll on this facility but we are improving! All staff treat residents as our own family! Our building might not look fancy like the newer buildings but we sure do treat and care for our residents with love! If you are looking for a place for your loved ones not just of how it looks but for the care The Park in Plano is the place.
