Locally owned and operated, Park Tavern offers a place where you can eat, drink, bowl, and party in the Twin Cities.

Description

Visit us and enjoy our three bar areas and our full-service restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner, our chef prepares a wide variety of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads,steaks, wings, and more. There’s something for everyone! Be sure to hit the bowling alley before or after your feast or check out the 11th Frame for a game of pool, darts, skiball or an arcade game as well! In the summer months, enjoy our 170 seat patio that features bags and bocce ball too!

Our three separate bar areas offer a carefully curated craft beer selection from many of your favorite local brewers. We also serve beer, wine, and cocktails.

Join us for our Chef’s Dinner once a month. Our chef will cook up a tasting menu, by reservation only, with each course paired with a complementary wine.

Whether you join our bowling leagues, come in for a fun game, or to enjoy our food and drinks, the Park Tavern is right up your alley!

Been here bowling before but we never went to the restaurant part. The food was very good with a great variety. The chairs and tables were too close for comfort and could have been cleaned first. I'm not sure if they were understaffed but our waitress checked on us maybe once and i never got a refill. It can get pretty loud so prepare to talk loud with them. The drinks were strong and nice. The bathrooms are outside the restaurant part so i won't review them. I can still see why people come though.
Awesome neighborhood bar and grill. I can't speak to most of the menu because I tend to order the Greatest Hits: their wings, Reuben, and chicken strip basket are all top-tier. Bar staff is friendly and prompt, and their beer selection is always good and full of local options. Get a great meal in a chill and comfortable bar and then go next door for a round of bowling. Got yourself a nice little Saturday!
The food here was interesting. The Korean Brussels were tasty but super saucy. I mean, they were drenched. They really needed only about a quarter of that sauce. They were tasty, though. I got the Kentucky sandwich. Again drenched in sauce. The sauce left a very bitter tang on my tongue. I could not even eat it. The side salad was generous, and the dressings okay--I got French and blue cheese. I ended up just getting a cup of chicken wild rice. Again, just okay. My sister got a burger, which she said was good. The service was very good despite the waitress having to cover the entire restaurant by herself for most of our time there. We each gave her a good tip because of it. She hauled butt.
I've been going to Park Tavern for quite awhile now, and always enjoyed it. Brought a friend with the last few times. I always looked forward to their pizza, but noticed they really started cutting things short so to speak. Sauce was almost non existent, cheese was average when I asked for extra and was charged extra.... My friend shreeked at the price of the onion rings, $12!!! Yes, prices have gone up, and portions have gone down. When asked, we were told it was do to the rising economy.... I'm glad this is a big city with lots of good places to eat. My friend and I made a pact to find a better place with customers more in mind then their bottom line.
I recommended your place to my friend for her Birthday! Absolutely loved the atmosphere and am thinking of having my party there too. @Shamus was fantastic his service impeccable with him being “Johnny On the Spot for us. The sliders I had were flavorful, filling and delicious most definitely will get those again! I tasted the spinach dip I don’t do buffalo but I heard no complaints thank you for a wonderful experience I shall return. I didn’t take a picture of the sliders because they didn’t last long
Great atmosphere, horrible service, and okay food. My family and I have been coming to Park Tavern for years, but I don’t think we’ll be rushing to get back anytime soon. The service has always been hit and miss, but it’s really gone down the tubes. The food is fine for a sports bar, but the restaurant truly shines in its atmosphere. It has an attractive, nostalgic neighborhood bar charm. It has a good variety of food, drink, and entertainment options; however, we would like to see improvement on the quality of service. We have had several lead servers who are downright rude. We have had others that are okay but completely disinterested in creating a positive experience for the clients. There have been a few good ones over the years, but they have taken their talents elsewhere. Customer service training would go a long way here.
Came here for a coworker's baby shower. I showed up early to help set up and the space fit the needs of the event really well. Kids were able to go bowling and the adults had plenty of space to mingle. Food was great and service was even better. I personally didn't go bowling but I heard from the 5 year old that it was tremendous, so 5 stars from me!
The entire bar and management staff made my evening at Park Tavern amazing! We had a blast, everyone was very friendly and the service was great. I am a tequila lover and the manager Christian was very knowledgeable when it comes to tequila. He suggested their Komos extra aged tequila and it was by far one of the best tequilas I've ever had. Definitely a must try!
Park Tavern is one of my families go-to places for dinner. We celebrated my birthday here on Friday evening and made a reservation ahead of time for a party of 8. The reservation process was super easy and our table was ready when we arrived. The wait staff is always friendly and welcoming. My friend had the ribs and said they were comparable to St Louis! I absolutely love their Mac & Cheese! Highly recommend for family dinner or group get together a.
