Decent selections available and their buffalo wings are their signature for a reason. They're the full wing and the buffalo sauce has great flavor and heat. Wait staff wasn't familiar with beers and seemed new to the service industry, but overall not disappointed! The lack of variety for the wings will likely make this my single buffalo wings place but I'll go elsewhere for the sauce and flavor varieties. I plan on trying their BBQ on my next visit to see how that stands up. If you want some of the best buffalo wings in KC, this is a safe bet.
Excellent place! We're definitely coming back! The wings are gorgeous and huge! It's a full Wing with tip. Fries were great everyone like their food. We also tried the Reuben, tenderloin and Philly. Reuben was best. Tenderloin was pounded too thin, making it less moist. And the Philly was good but the meat had absolutely no seasoning. However service was great, music was good, not too loud etc and they have specials everyday!
I ordered 6 dozen wings. I needed them quick. They promised me 30 minutes but were done in 25 and the bartender helped me carry them to my car I wish I would have gotten her name. She was awesome and the wings were delicious!!
I usually love to go to this location, however last night experience changed all that. Me and my friend got there about 7pm and it was busy but not terribly busy. Anyways there were no where to sit because the tables weren’t cleaned off. So me and my friend didn’t mind waiting for a waitress to come and clean a table! We waited for more than 10 mins for a table to be cleaned off that I had to go up to waiter and ask if she was able to clear a table any time soon. Even when we’re standing waiting no one came by and checked on us or anything just walked right on by like we were invisible. Once we got seated the waiter took our drink order and once she delivered our drinks we did not see her at all. She waited everyone else and seem like she was avoiding us and we wanted to get another drink before happy hour ended and that did not happen. So we paid for drinks and left! Very dissatisfied with the customer service.
One of the oldest bars in KC, this place has history and character! Like our very own Cheers, this place is always full of friendly folks, cold beer and ridiculously good food. Everyone raves about their giant and delicious wings they're very much both, but they also have one of the best BLTs in town - get a triple BLT to mop up the extra hot sauce from your wings and thank me later.
The wings were REALLY good but the tots and the fries were nothing too special.
A lot of stock commercial beers on tap, but only a few are exciting, most are AB products 50 taps but none really exciting, 2-3 seasonals. The waitresses are pretty slow. Never too busy. Food is usually fine. We tend to come here because its not crowded and no waits and not noisy, but the service is slow and food sometimes cold or not so great. It will be interesting to see if the place makes it with all of the new choices nearby now.
This is the dirtiest bar in the downtown Lee's Summit area. However for some reason people love to go here on the weekend. The music is pretty good for the younger crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. But the small bar and unorganized group of servers leaves a lot to be desired. I went there during the week and asked the waitress for a menu and a drink as I knew the kitchen would be closing soon. I waited for 10 minutes to get the drink. She came back without the menu. When I asked her again for the menu she said the kitchen is closed. Thats the kind of service you can expect there. Been that way for years. And drinks are extremely strong and over priced.
The first time I went was with my bestie and I really didn’t get to enjoy my food was a little burnt. The second time I went last Thursday with my kids. There was only one waitress and she was all over the place. We asked her what was good on the menu and she stated that she don’t eat animal protein. We looked at each other and was in shocked. Normally waitress will tell you anything. But we waited almost 30 minutes for the food to come and it was cold and messed up. The kids went ahead and left with their orders and I had to wait another 10 minutes for veggies and fries. Overall experience so far wasn’t great.
Great music and great wait staff. The food was amazing and great portion size for the price.
