The Prospect Restaurant at Scribner Hollow Lodge is an award-winning food and wine destination that has won the prestigious Wine Spectator Magazine "Award of Excellence," for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world for eight years in a row. In February of 2007 we won the Wine Enthusiast Magazine Restaurant Award for "stellar service, show-stopping cuisine, inventive décor and eclectic, wide reaching wine programs-presenting the very best in fine dining." Other honors that have been bestowed upon our Windham and Hunter area hotel include "Best Restaurant Worth a Drive" from Albany's Metroland Magazine, 2001, 2003 and 2005 "Best Restaurant in Greene County" from Hudson Valley Magazine, and the 1999 "Restaurant of the Year" Award from the New York Wine and Grape Foundation, which recognizes The Prospect Restaurant at Scribner Hollow Lodge for its leadership role in featuring New York State wines in concert with innovative menus presenting local and regional agricultural products.
