A truly wonderful and inspiring school. We could not have hoped for a better school for our daughter who has attended for just over a year. We are confident she is getting the best teaching and care possible, and it is so good to know she is happy and thriving. The school's atmosphere is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the staff are understanding and dedicated.
We as a family cannot rave enough about the Ridgeway Community School and the impact it has had our our lives and the life of our girl. She has been attending for 10 years and absolutely loves it. The input from the staff is 100% and they are always striving to find better ways to teach our children. They are not only 'taught' but loved and nurtured too. From Darryl the Head, Jayne the Deputy Head and to all the staff and support staff we get the best care and attention. I love visiting the school - the atmosphere is great with so many exciting things going on. We want to apply the brakes to our girl can stay there forever!
If it wasn't for the wounderful staff at this school my sister would not have achieved the level she is at now. We've been through a few schools and this is by far the most supportive and understanding team! I myself did work experience at this school and even as a working environment there was a lot of support, all members of staff are very friendly. So thankful for the Ridgeway Community School!
Our son has been at the school for three years now. We knew within the first few weeks we had made the right decision. He has made fantastic progress in all areas and now has friends and a supportive and appropriate peer group. He has not only made progress academically but in self help skills, behaviour and speech and language. The school offer many opportunities, both within the school but also within the local community.
My Grandson has been at The Ridgeway since the age of 10. Despite having severe learning disabilities, we have seen him make progress in many areas. . The school has a friendly, family atmosphere. The staff are positive and work very hard to engage all the children.
An Outstanding School. My Son has attended here for 10 years and is extremely happy. It also really lives up to its name as a Community School - because all the elements of the School Pupils, Staff and Parents come together to support each other. It truly deserves its Outstanding Ofsted Status.
My daughter has attended this school for nearly 7 years now. She has a severe physical disabilities. This wonderful school has really been the making of her - she loves every second there. I cannot rate the school and the staff highly enough.
The Ridgeway is a fabulous school with outstanding staff who certainly go the extra mile. My son has been here for 10 very happy years now, and we can't imagine life without them!
Couldn't reccomend this school highly enough, teaching is outstanding and the school is exceptionally welcoming and supportive. Our son started here just last year and is thriving!
