We drove 2 hours to try this restaurant and we're so glad we did! Our clean plates say a lot! Delicious home cooking! Best chicken fingers I've had in decades. Pecan pudding to die for. All fresh and made like Mamaw used to!Food: 5/5
I visit the Centerville area very frequently for business purposes, multiple times in a month including Sundays. Every time the food & atmosphere have been exceptionally good! A big HOWEVER! I really dislike unsanitary restrooms, especially if I just can't run home to go. The last three times, the bathrooms were very very unclean. The last two visits I could smell sewage from where the lobby door opens into that area. I just can't eat in a restaurant that doesn't care about it restrooms. Hygiene in that area requires improvement. RESTROOMS = - 10.
I had a club sandwich and the ham on it was great! Plus, they made it so it wasn't hard to handle. Some of the others had the buffet. We went by the next day and picked up Teriyaki Chicken Strips for a family reunion. They were devoured.Recommended dishesCountry HamParking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot
It was my first time eating there. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was friendly. The food could've definitely been seasoned better. The macaroni and cheese wasn't homemade, the dressing was on the dry side, the chicken was okay, but could've been seasoned better. The lima beans could've had some seasoning. The salad side was good. Overall, I wouldn't say the food was terrible, but it was okay just needed SEASON!!!
The food was fantastic!! Home cooked meals with a variety of options if you get the buffet. The menu has a good variety of options also. The price was low for the quality and selection of items, in my opinion. If we go through there again we will stop again. The atmosphere was like a home and the waitress was like family!!! Absolutely loved this place. Parking: Semi truck parking lot available with plenty of space.
Don’t stop, keep driving. Floor was sticky. Food was from a can. We had the meat and three buffet. The fried pork chops were the best option, but I wouldn’t stop there for the pork chops. The sides were less than average. The bathroom was small and broken. Limited options on the buffet. Seemed that was all that was available.
This was just good old country cooking. They have a buffet with different items each day. I enjoyed everything I had with one exception, the sweet tea. My wife would have liked it but I like mine sweeter. It seemed as if everyone knew each other and folks and staff were really friendly. Vegetarian options: As a buffet one could just get veggies.
Doesn't open until 8 am. The food the 1st time I ate there was really good. I don't understand how a country restaurant opens at 8, All the farmers, truckers, and other workers have to be getting after it by then. I had to go before they opened. But thanks for the parking. .Food: 5/5
Small town, fantastic food. Service was amazing. We will be coming here againFood: 5/5
