Taste like a homemade treat! The carrot cake was delicious. It was subtle and had delicate flavors. The exterior of the location is a little rough, but don’t worry, the inside is clean, quaint, and welcoming. Steady theme and decor throughout. Staff was solid. And the kitchen looked amazing. They have a lovely glass display with full-sized, freshly made treats. They also have smaller/single serving slices and editions in the small cooler off of the main display. A variety of goods…all look welcoming. Some street parking out front. Second visit: just as amazing as round one. Kind and patient team here. Mentioned what a hit the carrot cake was for us, and they introduced us to their hummingbird cake; a Jamaican inspired banana and pecan cake. The 9 inch cakes provide 6-8 slices; so there is a slight savings when you purchase the full cake versus slices. The 9 inch carrot is $25; slices are $4.50. Great spot. Wishing them much success!

The chocolate cake was delicious as well as the cake pops. Haven’t tried the carrot cake yet.

I love this mom and pop bakery place. The ingredients are a always fresh. I usually get the carrot cake but today I picked up a ube cheese cake. I am particular with my cheese cakes. This was a 100% perfect in texture and taste. I will never go another place for my cheese cakes. Thank you Shredded carrot.

We ordered a cake and cupcakes regular and gluten free and asked for decorations that we found ideas for online. They did an amazing job with our custom order and the gluten free cupcakes were AMAZING! UPDATE: We ordered my daughter's birthday cake for the second year in a row and, no joke, parents at the party said it was the best cake they've EVER had! The Shredded Carrot is our go-to. So delicious, so accommodating.

We had the Shredded Carrot make the cake for our intimate wedding ceremony/dinner. I wasn't very specific on the design, but wanted it to coincide with our beachside location and the colors in our wedding. We were very specific, however, on the flavors we wanted - chocolate cake with peanut butter cream to reflect that of a Reese's cake. My mom, who graciously gifted the cake, wanted it to be a surprise so I didn't see it until it was time to cut it. And what an amazing surprise it was! The design of the cake with all its oceanic details see photos - including bride and groom starfish toppers - was beyond what I expected. They even hit our requested flavors spot on. It was the perfect little wedding cake and everyone enjoyed every last bite! Thank you Shredded Carrot.

Looked on Yelp to see if there were any new cake places and found this gem. I actually purchased this two days before a birthday so I had it in the fridge for 2 days before trying... and it was still the best carrot cake I’ve ever tried! Moist, but still very textured. Looks like it had a million ingredients. From what I could tell it had raisins, carrots, and the outside was covered with walnuts. I usually remove the frosting but their frosting is delicious! This place is yummy and its very reasonably priced for the size. I also tried one of the take away slices of cheesecake in the fridge and I was pleasantly surprised. It was more cakey then creamy which I really liked. I think I will definitely be coming back!

I ordered my first Shredded Carrot dessert for my husbands birthday, and the Carrot Cake was incredible! Everyone at the party asked where the cake was from, it truly is the best carrot cake I have ever had. Not too sweet, the perfect amount of icing, five start. I just had my second experience yesterday, I ordered a custom key lime pie for a baby shower...incredible again! I will only be ordering the from shredded carrot for all my parties!

Delicious! If we want a carrot cake, the Shredded Carrot is the only place we go. The cake is dense full of raisins and very moist. If you are not a fan of raisins, you can call ahead of time and request less or no raisins.

I heard about this place from a community Facebook group. I needed a cake to celebrate my son’s baptism and decided I’d try them out even without trying them first. My family and I loved the carrot cake I ordered. They made a custom cake for me and it was not only a great looking cake but very delicious. My family and I are going to order another cake soon because we loved it so much.

I was very disappointed,,,I know there famous for there carrot cake ,,but they sure suck making cakepops ,,I ordered 2d for my daughters babyshower this past weekend ,,when I picked them up ,,they weren’t the colors I had asked for , they weren’t wrapped like I asked ,they were huge ,,all different sizes ,,cake was sooooo moist ,,I think it wasn’t cooked all the way ,,I had 2 ,,and had a bad stomachache/diarrea,,,I didn’t complain at the time ,cuz the party had already started at the park ….unfortunately my family and I ,,and neighbors that love going there ,will not be buying from them ever again ,,,on top of that ,,another employee that was there ,,I think it’s the owners son ,,was kind of rude ,,I said hello to him and he didn’t respond ,,like really ,, what kind of customer service is this …..I really hope the owner reads this and fixes this ….
