Great Children's toy and book shop. Also online too but worth going in person for the experience to find some very unique toys from Europe and abroad that are usually very good quality, handmade and very hard to find. Prices reflect the quality and limited quantity available for some items. We really like the wooden toy selections, especially the Grimm's toys, which are great. Lots of hours of play with those.
STOP SCROLLING....and SHOP at Merci Milo! We heard about this gem from Shay Mitchell's IG. Little did we know, this was in our Highland Park neighborhood and it was so easy to get to. The adorable storefront is in what looks like a cozy cabin and it is filled with so many magical toys for our little one. They have a wonderfully curated book selection and so many Montessori toys! Support this small business the next time you need to buy a little person gift!
MerciMilo is the only shop we buy from now! Caroline has curated the most magical collection of books and toys. So much love is poured into this business and you can truly tell! On more than one occasion I’ve messaged Caroline about an item in the shop and she is SO quick to respond. Definitely customers for life!
Shop Merci Milo is a dream. Beautifully, imaginatively and thoughtfully curated children’s toys, dinnerware and clothes. Portland is so lucky to have this gorgeous store opening. Everything we’ve bought has endured for years - well-used and loved.
This store is an absolute dream! They have the most unique toys - lots of Montessori toys, stem toys for toddlers!, art toys.. it's all amazing. Also picked up a baby shower gift: dinosaur booties rawr, a mushroom stuffie, and a knit dino. And the prices were conservative: definitely some high end items, but most of what I bought and a lot of what I saw was totally reasonable. I don't know if my daughter is more excited to go back.. or me.
The most magical toy shop in all of Los Angeles, we even drive here from the west side! All of our most precious toys have come from this shop. The owner is so lovely, helpful and thoughtful. They also have a great online shop for those unable to make it in!
One of my absolutely FAVORITE toy shops! I love to shop online and when I visit LA in store. It is such a whimsical place. The owner truly cares about each customer and the community at large. If you are looking for a fun and unique toy, you definitely need to check out Merci Milo!
This is the most magical toy store in the United States!!! The nostalgic, heirloom toys are so special and bring so much joy to me and to all the children I know. The books, curated clothes, and literally every little toy are perfection. I've purchased online and in person, and both experiences are absolutely wonderful. I love this store!! And the owners are so sweet and lovely. They really care about every single customer and all the children that come through the store. Thank you for the bottom of my heart for providing such an enchanting place.
I was smitten with this shop the first time I walked into their LA location. The building itself was beautiful and full of history. Every corner was filled with gorgeous toys and books, the owner clearly had put so much thought and care into curating the selection. I wanted to buy everything for myself, ha! You can find heirloom quality toys here that you can’t easily find elsewhere. There are also books and toys perfectly priced for that birthday gift you know, the birthdays that seem to come up every weekend. I love, love, love this shop. The owner and her husband are also so mellow and friendly, it makes shopping here a pleasure. This is a true small business—spend your dollars here instead of Amazon!
Ive always been wanting to get some treats from this lovely toy shop. I finally ordered an early Christmas presents for my children. This shop has amazing products you’ve never seen before. My products came very fast and packed with care. I highly recommend this lovely toy shop! Keep up the great work!
