Called to ask if the seller bought used clothes, spoke to Karen and she was very curt and rude. Hung up on me before I could even speak. Wouldn’t shop there if that’s what the customer experience is going to be like. Can’t imagine people who work in such giving occupations can be so mean

Captains is a great place to spend a little, but get a lot. The store is neat and they have quality used items. It’s fun to shop there. You never know what “treasures “ you might find!

I had a positive experience here today! I bought beautiful dishes that I plan on using around the holidays and the wonderful staff had helped me package my dishes and the selection is wonderful if I could I would had bought the store!

While visiting from out of state I felt lucky to find this great thrift store. It was clean, bright, and well organized. The prices were very good and I happened to be there during the 50% off home goods sale. I found some treasures. The staff were friendly and helpful. I only wish I lived closer.

I’m giving this a 3 only because of one woman who was working behind the register on Tuesday. I was returning a comforter that I had previously purchased because it was too small. Knowing that I wouldn’t receive a refund. However I just wanted to return it so they could resell it. The moment that I walked through the door she exclaimed in a very nasty way that they were not receiving anymore donations that day because they didn’t have the room. I asked her if I could put it in the bin out back and she nastily replied. “Do whatever you like”! When I purchased the comforter the women working in the back room couldn’t have been any nicer. I’m sorry that just 1 person can be so nasty.

We love Captain’s Treasures! My two-year-old loves to pick out a pile of “new” books. I love to browse the baby section and find a few gems for her and soon to be baby sister. It’s small, but the prices are right and it’s clean and organized well. All the volunteers have been so nice to me every time I’ve been 100 times haha. I like where the money goes as well! Great organization. Definitely check it out.

Awesome thrift shop. Clean and does not smell like a thrift store. Quality items and a nice selection of stuff. Staff is all friendly and helpful. Great cause to support as well. No kids toys if anyone is wonder g. Clothing, house wares, glassware, books, knick knacks, craft supplies, jewelry and some collectable. Glad I found this little treasure of a shop.

It seems that people who drop off very nice items do not make it onto the floor for sale.  Many of the items have been there for quite some time yet people show up stating they have boxes of donations of very nice clothes or housewares.  When you go back just a few days later, you do not see any new items.  I agree with some of the other comments, expensive for used items.
