The Center for Early Leaning advances the University of Dayton’s Marianist Mission to respond to changing times and engage in important community outreach. In the University of Dayton Vision of Excellence (2004), “Regional Relationships and Service to Society” is identified as a means to “become involved with all aspects of the diverse regional community to which we belong. Service to our region and beyond in the cause of social justice, peace, and other goals that contribute to the common good are further manifes-tations of the Marianist spirit of Christian humanism that guides our University.”
