This is really an awesome UPS store. I know, I know, what a weird sentence! But there really are differences between them. I am an Amazon Vine reviewer, which means I get about "way too many" packages every week, some of them quite heavy. To put it mildly, I have been frowned at before. But not here. Never here! I don't know what it is about this store – probably the owner and Lacey? - but it feels like going into a small family run business. Everyone ALWAYS says hi. Everyone ALWAYS smiles, and says thank you and have a nice day. They have never, ever lost a single one of my packages; another first. I have always gotten a text when my package has been delivered, they offer to help me when I have a zillion things to carry to the car, they lend me a dolly when one is too heavy... they even helped us get the mailbox set up in the first place when we were in a "just moved & don't yet have the permanent address" state. This does not always happen, people! Trust me on this. I've been in other stores where you can SEE people biting back the urge to chuck the box at my head. And I really have to give a shout out to Lacey. That woman is unbelievable. I have personally seen her handling three customers simultaneously with three more in line - never missing a beat, never breaking a sweat, never dropping a detail or losing a milligram of temper. She always knows what to do, she always knows what people need, she always understands immediately what the situation calls for… she runs that store like the masterly captain of an extremely tight ship. And she is also extremely funny. Julianne I hope I spelled that right! is always wonderfully friendly and helpful too, as is the young man with the black hair and black beard whose name I unfortunately don't know, and Gordon, and the new quite young man with the curly hair. They all are! It's a little haven of sincerity in a world of rushing about blindly and barely exchanged glances. Thank you to all of you : Thank you for never pitching a box at my head! You rock!
Live Scan: I had to complete my live scan. I called and was greeted by Lacy. I shared with her what I needed to complete, that I was heading out of town the following morning, and she said, come on in, I'll get you taken care of. She asked if I had my application, then stated she could access everything via the QR code. I walked in 6 minutes before close, on Halloween evening, as quick as I could provide her the QR code, my DL, she had my finger prints done. Excellent service, super courteous, highly recommend. THANK YOU, Lacy. :-

I came in for print service and I was not impressed with the follow up. I was told someone would call me when the service was finished and no one did. No one told me ahead of time that I had to be the person to pick up the item. I sent a friend to pick the item up after I called to see if it was finished and they would not allow her to pick up my item. Again no one called. I tried to call to give verbal permission and verify that I was the person sending someone for pickup and the person I talked to was extremely unhelpful. I ended up making the trip and the printed invitations were fine but overpriced. I could have gotten an invitation from minted or Shutterfly for cheaper and those invitations are not cheap. Overall a complete waste of time and money. I only give more than one star cuz the guy who rang me up was nice and the invitations looked alright.. not worth the price but they were acceptable. I will never use this print service again. Fed ex told me they could do same day.. this place has to wait over night and make three trips..
This store has the best customer service from all other shipping facilities. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. You immediately get a nice welcome feeling. The rates are reasonable and they have post office boxes available for rent. It's located in a new shopping facility with lots of good places to eat, Safeway, medical care, chiropractor, a brewery, gym, beauty, stein mart, petco. Safe nice location, clean.
Staff was nice! Quick an fast. Even offered to tape my box unlike the UPS store in Downton PH only store to make you buy tape. I will keep coming back to this location!
They had one guy running the place young guy blond hair. The other UPS store was closed due to Covid. This guy was great efficient and very friendly considering how busy he was. Kudos to him!
I would give zero stars if I could. I have had a mailbox here for several years which I pay for, and the owner, Pat, has treated me disrespectfully and rudely throughout that time. He often takes personal phone calls in the middle of retrieving a package for me, and regularly makes me wait 10-15 minutes until he finishes his personal business to hand me a package. I recently got a package that was clearly marked fragile in huge letters, and watched him make an effort to throw the package on the counter rather than placing it there. I had put up with this behavior because this location was most convenient for my work. This week, I got packages delivered to the location, and I signed for 3 packages while he went to get the packages, and then he returned with only 2. I asked about it and he claimed I had already picked up the third one, which I knew I hadn't. He told me I was wrong and I should go home and look for the package. I obliged and returned today to tell him I checked, and could he please look for the package again. He walked to the counter and slammed down a printout of my signature of where I had signed for the 3 packages, and told me there was nothing I could do about it because I had signed. I calmly asked if he remembered our earlier discussion, and he said it wasn't his job to keep track of my packages, which is in fact, what I pay for. He continued to yell at me in the store while I tried to resolve the situation. I've never been treated this poorly by a business I pay money to, or really by anyone in my life. I asked to cancel my mailbox and he told me I had signed up for the mailbox and could not cancel, and that he wasn't going to take my packages anymore. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. There is another UPS store on Treat and Bancroft - go a few more blocks to there if you need a UPS Store.
Anytime I need to mail packages, return AMAZON stuff, or notarize, I go to the UPS Store. This particular one along with the one in Concord near Burlington Coat Factory and there’s that new one over in Pittsburg technically more like Antioch off Century and the movies, restaurants are owned and operated by Joe. Joe is a pro. He knows what he’s doing and so does his team. I’ve been to too many places whether they be USPS, Staples, OfficeMax, Office Depot, or even other UPS Stores many of which are also good. Joe hires great people and I’ve seen it time and again when I needed fast service - without sacrificing customer service or feeling rushed - Joe delivers. Joe to his credit is a friendly guy also, hands on as an owner, in an industry where you can just own a franchise and let someone else do the work. Thank you, Joe. You and your teams “UP” the UPS Stores standards. Keep that bar high and I’ll be sure to return as a customer and refer others.
I've had a box with Pat the owner for years, and he is completely unreliable. I have mail forwarded every Monday, every week of the year. I pay for this service and for his time, as well as the shipping costs, and I would expect him to be able to full-fill my requests, on-time, every Monday. He rarely sends out the mail on-time, and I have to frequently call him to remind him to do it, or ask when it will arrive. He frequently blames the delay on the USPS, and will never accept responsibility whatsoever. I've respectfully complained to him multiple times, and nothing has changed over the years. I called him today to remind him to forward my mail, and he actually told me today that "if you want reliable service, then go find another store". He really actually said this. I've filed a complaint at UPS Corporate, I doubt if it will help, but maybe this complaint will help more. I highly recommend finding another location for your mailing and printing needs, this guy is a disaster. I would have found another store and changed my mailing address years ago, but this is not easy to do when you've had the same address for years. BEWARE!!!!!!!
