Reply to Response: Dear UPS Store Owner in Poway - Thank you for the olive branch. I brought my business elsewhere, and am not in the area anymore. Carl was already paid the two Georges. I updated the review so it's not as harsh but still the truth. [~2023-June-25] Congratulations on making an extra $1.85. I prepped two labels without instructions on one page to save paper and ink. Carl said "$1 a label so $2". Even though they quoted a 15¢ a page black and white, I was being fair to expect to pay $1 but they still charged double. I took my business to Miramar Postal Plus.
I called this UPS store and asked how I should pack Amazon returns and was told to put them in clear plastic bags. When I got to the store, I was told that I have to put them in mailers, and if I would like to purchase them from the store. The lady who was accepting my returns was not helpful and didn't pay attention to what I was saying. This is not the first time I've had issues with this store. I will be going out of my way to go to another UPS store from now on, even though this store is 5 minutes from my house.
These people are useless and can't be trusted with anything important. They gave me the wrong slip to fill out for a time sensitive document and it didn't make it to its destination. Give your people some training so they know which type of slip to use!
EXCELLENT SERVICE, new location , run by Youngjay, the owner and his team. Fast, efficient, and working hard to help meet all our shipping needs! I will be back!
Terrible service, rude and unhelpful staff. I would recommend anyone avoid this place. It used to be a good location, but has recently gone down hill!
$1 for "label" printing??!! And it's not even on sticky shipping label material or more ink than a page full of content, just plain paper not to mention it was printed on a shrunk layout. That's just straight robbery. I've printed stuff at other ups before and it's never this disappointing.

All the staffs at this UPS store know how to serve their customers. Polite and professional! The shop is always clean, well organized and full of supplies. They never miss my needs of shipping and business services. Thank you YJ!
I priced the cost of shipping two boxes using UPS on-line. Boxes were 15x12x10, but when I arrived at this UPS store I was told that size is the inside of the box and b/c the employee measured the outside at 15 1/8" they have to round up to 16x13x11 thus more money. When I voiced I disagreed with the round up I was told, "I've been measuring boxes for years and you can take your business somewhere else if you would like." I'm not sure how this response if ever ok when speaking to a customer. Apparently this location does not need my $80, so I took my business to the Poway post office where they charged me based on the actual size of my boxes. I may have paid $2 more, but the extra $ was worth the customer service. All it takes is one bad experience and you've lost a customer for life.
Best UPS business in all of San Diego!
