The Velocipede Museum
Formerly located in New Castle, Delaware, The Velocipede Museum will be bringing its collection of velocipedes, tricycles, boneshakers and bicycles dating from the 1860s to the mid 1960s to Newburgh!
The Velocipede Museum has been featured on the now-cancelled TV series, "small wonders".
This subsidiary of Motorcyclepedia will feature the predecessors of the modern motorcycle, from the earliest examples of bicycles up to the last motorized bicycle before the advent of motorcycles. In addition to the bikes, the collection includes books, pamphlets, posters, license plates, bells, lamps, wheels, and more.
With the historic building that will be its future home currently under renovation, look for The Velocipede to open at 109 Liberty Street, Newburgh in Summer of 2017.
