When I moved in it was horrible. Changed my apartment 2 days before I moved from 1200 miles away, and I already had all the utilities set up in the other one. Moved into a flooded apartment. Nothing was clean. I had to clean again myself. My door won't stay shut after 2 work orders. It's very obvious it's been kicked in several times. It was such a mess when I moved in that they told me to go ahead and keep the rental washer and dryer that were already here. Now "new management" says since it's not in writing I have to pay it give it back. Nothing gets fixed. Promised new front doors 5 months ago . Nothing. NO visitors parking in the back apartments... So visitors have to walk. They don't clean up the dog park. Worst place I've ever lived. Save yourself the headache.
Honestly, the roach problem is unbelievable. Every single day I kill 5+ roaches. They are everywhere. I bleach the counters, mop the kitchen, vacuum, and every other tactic to get rid of them, but with no success. Management does not answer my emails and when I try to confirm that they receive my email, they give me a different email. When my husband and I first moved in, the dishwasher was broken and full of water and dead roaches. There was no air filter and dust was collecting around the vents. It was generally unclean. We had pest control come in to bomb our apartment before we moved in and they broke one of our drawers. Our apartment came with a washer and drier, but no one told us they were rented. One day management arrived and told us we have to start paying for the rent now. Online they advertise in unit washer and dryers. There is a sewage backup every week. Now the rent portal isn’t working and we have to pay rent in person. The office gave us 2 business days to get our rent in and I could not get it in. There are only 4 overhead lights in the whole apartment and one is in the bathroom. All of our doors are hard to open and close. When we moved in the front door frame was broken; it looked like someone tried to kick it in. Maintenance drilled some kind of plate in and now the door won’t fully seal, so cold/hot air comes in, bugs, and sometimes rain water. Honestly so over it.
I had a Great experience in getting a apartment here. Gary was kind, courteous, and more importantly understanding of my needs to find a place and move in hastily. And when I needed to move out he gave me clear and precise instruction on what to do and when to do them. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and understanding person and pleasant experience when dealing with an apartment associate. Thank you Gary for all your help!
When I moved in with my partner 2 years ago, we saw a giant roach within the first week. No amount of MANDATORY MONTHLY BUG SPRAYS ever helped, so be warned that they're likely just using that as an excuse to snoop through your private residence. Management changes basically every year, and with that comes an inability to pay your rent, mass confusion, and *higher* rent every lease renewal. The staff NEVER answer the phones anymore, on-site "amenities" haven't been open to residents since the pandemic started, and you can't get them to fix your rented washer/dryer units because the new leasing company has decided they don't want to pay them anymore and are forcing tenants to do laundry at an external facility. DO NOT MOVE HERE. The rent is high and keeps getting higher, management changes every year and is worse every time and makes it impossible to pay rent because they have a new format each time and just ignore their phones, and they pretend to spray for bugs but are just snooping. Anywhere else is better.
The maintenance guy named Paul has done a fantastic job in fixing problems in our apartment. he’s very friendly, gets the job done. The office staff are very nice & caring people as well. They fix problems as soon as they get informed.
I stayed at apt 315 then never fixed any of the broken cabinets when I first moved in they were broke. The door had no lining so bugs always got in & nats were flying around always. Crickets, spiders, water bugs, & geckos. Always in the apartment also the front widow wasn’t even on the apartment & they never fixed it which always let flies in & was in danger of ppl breaking in. Also when I moved in so many things were wrong with the apartment & they never came to fix it. Also I never got ti check the mail because they gave me the wrong key & I never got a new one. I only stayed there 3 months. SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE! I wouldn’t recommend! They also tried to boost the price too $1300 it’s not worth it. They also admitted to not having maintenance people.
Very strict management, despite the fact it’ll take 4 months to get a repair looked at. Every, then the maintenance guys will mark it done and not do anything… when you move out you will be given a long checklist of things to do to get your deposit back, then they’ll find excuses to not give it back to you. Make sure to take pictures and document everything because otherwise it will be dismissed. Also, if you have a roommate and they move out you will have to go through a process that requires a notary and a fee in all my years, I’ve never seen the notary. The fee I can understand but the notary just seemed like an extra step, and money, to keep you to stay. Overall the place is way more hassle than it’s worth, and I won’t mention the roaches….
The office staff at 16Ten is so amazing! They will absolutely make you feel welcome at your new home. Gary was super professional and was able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. Thank you, 16Ten!
New owner, Cushman Wakefield. New Management team. Pipes burst due to winter freeze. Manager came back today and learned of tenants predicament at 9:30am. He's still here at 9pm seeing to tenants needs. In 12 yrs I've never seen a manager do that. I've never in 12year's left a review either, but for this gentleman I will because he absolutely deserves it.
Just moved into 10ten apartments Ginger Bradley the manager helped me through the documents which made it so easy and simple. The apartment was freshly renovated and clean and ready to move into. The location is close to shopping. Ginger the manager is always available for any questions I would recommend this place
