We had an amazing dinner here last night, full of amazing food, perfectly mixed drinks, and incredible service. The Life in Plastic drink is beautifully crafted, I hope this drink stays around for a long time. We started with the Cajun shrimp dip with focaccia and the bread offered the perfect crunch for this tasty dip. For our entrees we had the chicken and gnocchi and the confit chicken pasta — both the gnocchi and the pappardelle tasted as if it was made moments earlier. We ended the meal with the blueberry custard, and dare I say it was the tastiest thing we had all evening. My friend said that the espresso martini she ended with was the best one she’s ever had. Throughout our meal, Tina was absolutely incredible, refilling drinks, knowing the perfect timing to check on us, and overall enhanced our dining experience. We cannot wait for lunch to open. Absolutely the best elevated dining environment Maryville, maybe even in the surrounding Knoxville area, has to offer.

I was really disappointed by this place. I ordered a filet mignon and it tasted like charcoal. Didn't have any flavor. The loaded potato and broccolini tasted bland. The service was slow. We were seated right away since it was 8 pm, the hostess brought us to our table and handed the menu. Once we sat down, about 5 minutes later, a waiter came over and asked what we wanted to drink, we asked if they had beer, the waiter left and after 5 minutes, dropped off the drink menu. They came back after a while probably 10 minutes and we ordered a beer. Another 5 minutes later, a beer in a bottle was served no cup was offered. Then a few minutes later, they took our order. The food took a while to arrive seems like the kitchen was backed up. Nobody checked on us for a while, no water refill. We asked for the check, another while, and finally paid and left. The restaurant is cute, but the steak plates where not worth the money they charge for it. Maybe other plates might taste better, but I'm not planning on trying it.
Every dish was packed with flavor! The spinach artichoke dip appetizer was the best thing we had all night. Meat was cooked perfect. Atmosphere is cozy and staff is prompt. Started out annoyed waited over our reservation time even showing up early which is a pet peeve for pricey restaurants but the dishes made up for it. Absolutely will be back.
Stopped by for a cocktail and early dinner and was not disappointed. Sat at the Bar and they have quite the selection. I went with 18 yr Oban single malt scotch that was delicious. I wasn’t that hungry so I ordered just a Wedge salad and it was great. The bartenders were very pleasant and attentive. So…. I decide to stick around and order something more. I went with the Classic burger and a side of Brussels sprouts. Both were perfect. The hamburger was cooked precisely to medium and the house pickles were fantastic. I’ll definitely be back my next time through town.
We have been wanting to eat here for several years but were just never able to get a reservation. We made a reservation for 8 pm and got to the restaurant at 7 hoping someone canceled, that didn't happen, lol... sat at the bar with Mary and had a glass of wine and she was so welcoming we decided to eat at the bar. We were on the very end so it felt very private, looking around we loved the feel of the restaurant, another couple next to us decided to eat at the bar as well, and the entrees they ordered looked amazing!!! He had some gourmet burger and she had a pasta covered steak!! We ordered the filet Pittsburgh med rare and I have to tell you it was cooked to perfection! The Brussel sprouts were amazing, salads, on point, and the chicken wrapped prosciutto with mozzarella was exquisite. Everyone was so friendly and the food and atmosphere was amazing. My new favorite spot, and I am very picky. Kitchen staff were all super nice and I love an open kitchen .
We made reservations for seven family members. Six members out of seven ordered steaks. The steak was not cooked to temperature. One family asked for his steak to be burnt and the waitress repeated that back, however the steak came out medium at best and they took back to cook more, only to come out raw still. Two family members ordered Brussel sprouts and these were burnt so much they did not have a flavor. Manager was less than par when it came to resolution, however modified bills accordingly after some push back. I do not recommend this restaurant.
My girlfriend made reservations for my birthday. She knows all the good places. I just take the pictures! Everything we had was amazing! I loved the bookends of my meal the most - Buffalo chicken “lollipops” and cinnamon roll skillet! Not to say that the main course wasn’t incredible as well!Recommended dishesCinnamon Bun, Cornbread, Steak Dinner
Enjoy our early dinner at the bar. Even though we had reservations for 5:15pm and arrived at 4:30pm, the young lady didn't want to seat us at that time. Almost all tables were open.? So we sat and ate the bat. Wonderfully service, good food, and reasonable pricing. We definitely will go back for the service at the barFood: 4/5
The workers here are very humble and nice, always refill your water whenever you need, and you don't have to ask or try to track them down. I very much enjoy the atmosphere. The brick walls, and the logs attached to the wall create something unique and different in the vibe of this restaurant. The appetizer I had gotten was very good, I ordered the chicken lollipops. It sounds how it tastes. The breading was drizzled in what I'm guessing is a sweet honey. The meat was cooked very thoroughly, the breading was crunchy, these lollipops are probably one of my favorite things I've eaten, I very much enjoyed my time until the entrees arrived. The mountain burger I had ordered was very plain, almost no seasoning on it at all if any, the person I was with said their chicken was very tough, and I had tried a piece. Very rough almost like a tough beef texture and very salty, almost as if they had dropped the chicken in the Black Sea and served it to us. The main meal left me very disappointed, I may have come on a bad day I'm not sure but, I don't think I will be coming here again anytime soon.
