I'm an antique dealer and a soap maker for 20 years now, I sell my soap wholesale and retail. I also paint furniture following the current designer trends. After 10 years of not owning my own brick and mortar store, I feel the time is now. The shop is located next door to my daughter's shop Candle Shed Effect and between the two of us, there's 5,000 feet of retail shopping. We have various dealers and three levels of shopping...antiques, vintage and repurposed. Candle Shed Effect, is right next door selling soy wax candles and tarts, antiques, oddities and hand made printed signs made in store, by us...and that's what it's all about in today's antique biz, in the historic downtown of Muscatine, Iowa, pearl button capital of the world right on the Mighty Mississippi.
