The Winslow offers the East Village and Gramercy area a fresh take on the traditional public house. The U.K.-inspired eatery and modern gin joint features an impressive beverage program, flavorsome specialty cocktails and an extensive Gin List. The bar features gins from around the globe in the styles of London Dry, Old Tom, Modern, Regional, American and Seasonal, alongside over 20 varieties of old world, new world and British beer on tap. The eclectic, yet well-balanced collection of cocktails highlight locally sourced ingredients and unique pre-batched barrel aged varieties. Signature sips include gin and house made flavored tonics. All libations feature botanicals such as house dried citrus, hibiscus, ginger, bee pollen and more to compliment each type of gin. Cuisine created by executive chef Nathan Pauley, incorporates traditional favorites from across the pond as well as a range of house-made savory local delights. Designed as a “home away from home” for guests, the space boasts multiple HD TVs that are hidden when not in use, a 20ft front bar finished with a chalk white concrete top, high seating, and a back bar embellished with fumed oak and blackened steel.
