Founded in 2001, The Wishing Stone began as a small seaside boutique in Mukilteo, Washington. Owner Janet Yoshikawa is a graduate gemologist with a lifelong appreciation for natural wonders. In 2005, the store moved to Main Street in Edmonds, Washington. In 2014, The Wishing Stone opened a second location in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, in addition to relocating their Edmonds flagship store to a bigger unit up the street.
