About

Southern Hospitality, European Charm. Owned and operated by the Rueffert family since 1976.

Description

Owned and operated by the Rueffert family since 1976, this unique restaurant and hotel has been featured on Food Network, CNN, Georgia Traveller, The Doctors and several regional television shows. It's also been in the pages of Southern Living, Georgia Magazine, Atlanta Magazine, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and more. While we're certainly proud of our accolades, we're more proud of the scores of regular diners and guests who list the Woodbridge Inn as their favorite restaurant and mountain getaway.

We stayed in room #11 Dogwood and had a great experience! The room was just as advertised, with plenty of room for the 3 of us. I'd like to thank Leslie Property Manager for the service she provided. Called her for extra towels and sheets for the fold out sofa and we had them before returning from our walk. She even made up the sheets/blanket/pillow on the sofa, so it was ready for us. Thanks for the great customer service! It was very quiet and peaceful during our stay and we loved the location. We walked across the old wooden bridge and enjoyed the old downtown area. This was an awesome small town area to check out before taking my brother to start his Appalachian Trail hike.
From the moment we stepped into the Woodbridge Inn & Tavern, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere. The culinary journey that followed was truly delightful. The Mac and cheese had the perfect balance of creamy goodness and savory flavor, making it an instant favorite. The grilled salmon spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette was a refreshing and healthy option that exceeded our expectations. The combination of tender grilled salmon, fresh spinach, and tangy vinaigrette was simply divine. But the real star of the show was the roast beef quiche of the day paired with the incredible stone ground cheese grits. The quiche was beautifully baked with a rich and flavorful filling that perfectly complemented the melt-in-your-mouth roast beef. And those stone ground cheese grits? They were a revelation! Creamy, cheesy, and packed with a delightful texture that left us craving for more. Throughout our dining experience, the attentive and friendly staff ensured that we felt well taken care of. The service was impeccable, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive. Woodbridge Inn & Tavern is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its outstanding culinary offerings. The combination of delicious Mac and cheese, the fantastic grilled salmon spinach salad, and the mouthwatering roast beef quiche with stone ground cheese grits made our visit unforgettable. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience in Jasper, GA.
This is a quaint and out the ordinary place to stay in close proximity to many of the fantastic north Georgia mountain destinations. Our lodging was clean and well kept. The food at the tavern was excellent and our server was pleasant and attentive.Rooms: 5/5
Katelyn and Ann were incredible! We had great conversation and One on one experience. We felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant and specially catered to. It was cozy and homey with amazing food, drinks and service!!! Go check it out!! Food & drinks: Food and drinks were amazing!! A definite diamond in the rough!!
We had dinner here twice last week because it so fantastic...had to go back! The fig and bacon appetizer was just so tasty. The first night I had the salmon, which was cooked perfectly. The second night, the filet and again, perfection. My husband who is a big eater, had the ribs and couldn't finish them..very generous portions! Julia was our server both nights, and she was the best. Will come back as often as possible!
Such a perfect chill place. Music volume was perfect. Bartender Nayelli was her name was awesome. Apps were terrific and on-time. The Cuban was delicious with a definite smoke to the brisket. Very nice job guys! Homemade ranch was made out of crack. And the blueberry bread pudding DOES NOT SUCK!Service: 5/5
We had dinner for the first time this evening at The Woodbridge Inn and oh my goodness it was AMAZING. My husband and I are foodies and eat all over and this was one of the best meals we've had in a very long time. The cocktails were so good. We ordered the butter board as an appetizer and the portions were above and beyond generous. Their cornbread...holy wow. The food was incredible and the star of the show was the roasted Brussels with sweet chili sauce and crunchy sweet coconut. It was eyes roll back in your head good. If I ever won the lottery I'm hiring the chef there as a personal chef for real. We'll definitely be back.
We had a great stay. The service was fantastic - lead by Ann. Drinks were great and food was exceptional. We will be back! Rooms: Very clean - felt like someone cared. Nearby activities: Can't say enough about the area. There is something for everyone. Walkability: You can walk the entire town from the hotel --- and should. Food & drinks: Exceptional!!
Last week, my husband and I stayed three nights at this quaint inn. Our room was in the Lodge portion; we had the Oak Room #7. It was a very spacious room. Upon entering the room, I noticed a tray on the bed holding the Guest Manual & Room Service Menus, a TV remote, a pen, and a pad of paper. It looked lovely! We had a king-size bed, a loveseat, a table w/two chairs, a decent-sized closet area, and a bathroom. There was a nice assortment of toiletries. The heat worked fine did not use air conditioning on this trip. There was a ceiling fan as well and that worked also. The grounds at this Inn are very well kept with nice landscaping rose bushes were blooming and very beautiful. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit on a cool night while listening to the music playing outside. We also played cornhole which is provided on-site by Woodbridge. Nearby activities: There are hiking areas, breweries, wineries, and apple orchard areas with shops within a reasonable driving distance from the Inn. Food & drinks: The Woodbridge Tavern serves such great-tasting food that I said I could eat there every night that they're open! All the sides that came with the meals were excellent. The cocktails were blended to perfection and we enjoyed a few of them over the nights. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann who informed us about a new cocktail that was perfect for Cinco de Mayo. We tried one of those also. So yummy! Thumbs up to the entire staff for making our stay and dining a wonderful experience.
We had brunch. Service and food was very good, the Club sandwich was very tasty and the Grand bowl was a very large serving.. They ran out of ketchup today…not sure how happens so had to eat my fries without it. I would skip the Bloody Mary, but otherwise a very a nice place.
