Worst people ever here. Nobody listens to you about when your sick or if you have something wrong. Espically Dr hunt. And most of the nurses. Do not take your children here.
Dr Hunt is amazing. We've been bringing our children here for years. She's down to earth and listens. Words cannot express how much we like her. 15/10.
Such a wonderful office. Our son's pediatrician, Dr. Barton, is outstanding. All the staff are kind and helpful. As a first-time parent, I really appreciate how easy it is to get advice from the nurses by phone when I'm not sure whether an issue merits bringing my son in for an appointment. A number of times, they have so kindly talked me down from my worry and empowered me with info on what to expect and watch out for with an illness or injury.
My family absolutely loves Dr. Hunt. If she were working out of a different facility we would continue to go to her but Thedacare is absolutely incompetent in the day to day operation of their clinic. They are constantly late for appointments. Cannot keep their records straight so that you have to redo simple paperwork at every visit. Their receptionists are rude and uncooperative and their billing department is constantly overbilling patients and then being forced to send out reimbursements when they fail their audits. As much as we love Dr. Jennifer Hunt my family will no longer trust our care to an operation as poorly run as this one.
Dr. Jones is fantastic but trying to get paperwork so your child can play sports, is downright painful. Two days spent back and forth with several people, trying to get one signature is certainly not the type of experience I've come to expect. They require a fax or a drop off which is archeich and out of touch. I am completely disappointed in the level of service I received. Although I would recommend our Doctor, I'm not sure it's worth the headache.

We didn’t mind our pediatrician but the billing department at this place is a complete joke. I have had to call on every bill because they can’t run things through insurance correctly. We have switched to a different provider through Aurora due to billing issues. I have been battling with them over a 1,200 bill for a well child visit with immunizations from March that they say my insurance company refuses to cover. Well when I call the insurance company they say they cut them a check on 4/6 for full balance due. Nobody listens to me when I call billing department. I’ve called monthly, sometimes twice monthly, trying to deal with these benefit “specialists”. Extremely frustrating.
Love the doctors, HATE Thedacare. I have lived in many places and have NEVER dealt with a healthcare system that is more concerned about CYA than patient welfare. For example, because they don't want to take the time to figure out what information they are legally required to not share with parents they just block it all. No other system I have, or currently use, does this! I can't even request a refill or get the immunization history for my 12 yr old without a phone call and a trip to the office. Thedacare just sucks. Go use Ascension or Aurora but stay away from Theda and EnCircle! I only wish our pediatrician would change practices as we would be gone in a heartbeat.
Would not recommend anyone use Thedacare pediactrics. They were unfriendly and inpersonal. We also asked 4 times about getting our son circumcised between the birth nurse and doctor and our first pediatric appointment and it never got done. Now we have to have our son put under, and pay out of pocket for a specialist because no one wanted to do it at birth.
Dr. Szamanda and her team + the lactation consultants here have been great to me. It feels good to have understanding and caring medical staff as a first time mom.
