First timers! Stopped in for a bite to eat with my hubby on the way through. Reviews said 4.6 . We each got a cheeseburger, and shared fries and cheese curds. The food was excellent! Burgers done perfectly 1/2 #, mind you and really good seasoning with a crispy edge and fresh bun. And the cheese curds were REALLY good. I am a curd nerd and try them almost everywhere I go to eat. Super good . We will definitely be back. Trying the fish fry next, looks like similar coating as the curds! YUM! ~M&J Morris
We had decided to try a new place tonight for fish. Glad we did! We did the double haddock meal for take out. The haddock was super tasty, loved the coleslaw. I also liked their tartar sauce and typically I hate it. Although it was busy when we ordered our food, it still came out pretty fast!Food: 5/5
We had a quick experience on a hockey trip from North Dakota. We didn’t announce about 16 of us were coming, but they called in additional help and we had a great quick meal. Beer/food was great and all reasonable. Fun place.Food: 5/5
A staple of Menasha. Great atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and fast! The food is as you would like. Fast, a lot of it and always hot! Nothing bad to say about The Old Grog! It's a must go to kinda place!Food: 5/5
Stopped to meet with a friend. Great atmosphere, great bartender. I ordered a prime rib sandwich. It was delicious, but lost a star on how incredibly thin the piece of meat was! Still good though. I'd go back!
Usually visit every Wednesday for their lunch specials! You can get Spaghetti and meatballsvery goodor beef tips and gravy over mashed potatoesvery good as well!. Either one, under $8.00!Food: 4/5
Service was good, my friends chicken was decent, the pizza burger was not good. It was a mess and the cheese was not melted. My son ordered the mushroom swiss burger medium rare and it was well done. The water tastes like it came straight from a well or the river??
Great food and drinks. It has that old school corner tavern vibe. Yes, that is a good thing. All of that is great and all but the bartender and the kitchen staff was the highlight. Recommendations were made based on what we ordered to get more out of it. It was very helpful and you don't see enough of that any longer.Food: 5/5
