Thousand Trails Chehalis provided a fantastic camping experience. The campground offers numerous activities, such as the Coffee One Pot Social and the Popcorn & a Movie event at the Upper Lodge. Although I didn't participate in many activities, I was impressed by the options available. The bathrooms were spotless, a testament to the campground's cleanliness and maintenance. The helpful rangers informed us about available full hook-up spots during check-in. The spacious campground is surrounded by natural beauty, offering a serene and picturesque atmosphere. With two pools on-site, it's a perfect place to unwind. The only limitations is the absence of wood fires due to it being fire season and spotty cell phone service depending on the location you choose in the park. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return to Thousand Trails Chehalis in the future.
147 dollars gets you a camp site . Bathrooms in disrepair no hot water . Lock broken on stall no worries we punched it out and didn't replace it 2 showers jk 1 is so rusted it doesn't work. The kicker if 2 showers for about 20 campsites isn't pathetic enough no hot water . Waste of money vacation ruined avoid its the campsite equivalent to a really bad motel 6 .
We stayed here for 6 days with our 38' RV. The only sites that have sewer are used by staff and long term guests so don't plan to have sewer hookups. The park offers a honey wagon only once a week and charges an outrageous fee of $70. Suggestion to management, get your own honey wagon and offer it for a more reasonable price for guests. The sites are not real level so plan to bring extra risers. We were happy with the size of our spot and it was clean when we arrived. The park has two pools that were heated and very clean. The bathrooms were also easy to access and clean. There were two jacuzzis but the upper area one is covered and unusable and the lower one is functional. The game room at the lower area had quite a bit of equipment and was quite crowded when we went. The upper lodge game room is closed. The park staff told me it's because people kept ruining things which was also their excuse for not having umbrellas available for the tables at the pool. Honestly, I feel they could have a more solution oriented outlook toward it all and make this place a 5 star resort. It has good bones, but needs a more customer service oriented management attitude. Arcade games would be a great solution for the game room because the money earned would pay for repairs and umbrellas could be checked in and out using driver's licenses to hold folks accountable. This place could definitely be a number one family destination with a few changes and an activities director.
Great campground!! Well kept fun playground for kids. Good sites for recreational vehicles all your hookups. Made us very happy to have all the hookups. Very beautiful park we will keep coming back a lot my favorite so far!!
This is a beautiful RV resort. Some sites have full hookups, and some are uneven. I believe this is one of the nicest thousand trails we have been to. With hiking trails swimming pools and hot tubs. Our site easily fits our 42-foot 5th wheel and dually truck. This RV resort is a first come, first served, so it could be hard to find your perfect site. This is ours.
Beautiful campground. Lots of privacy, shaded areas or open areas. There is a mini golf course, basketball hopp, lodges have movie nights, a pool, sauna, hot tub, laundry mat. You have the ability to purchase ice on the spot. Showers and bathrooms available 24 hours. It is quite peaceful. Especially with a thousand trails camping pass. If you search it and like it- say Kayla Sample referred you! Nearby activities: Golf, basketball court, horseshoes, racquet ball, playground, pool, sauna, hot tub. Playground: Numerous located throughout the park Restrooms: Open 24 hours with showers Dog-friendliness: Dogs allwed Picnic area: Every campsite has picnic table
We stayed in C Loop and enjoyed a great 3 night 4 day stay with our puppy. The trails around the park are beautiful but not marked well so carry the map with you. The dog park and other dog owners we met were lovely and we often had the space to ourselves or just one other dog. Pools both open and lots of families for the pre-July 4th weekend. Bathroom in Loop well maintained. Another fantastic TT experience.
Absolutely terrible rv park. We have a thousand trails membership, so we can stay here for free. Opted to pay for a park in September rather than stay here again for free. So much overgrowth making navigating the park in a big rv very difficult. Had to cut back thorny bushes before I could connect to power a water. About 95% of spots have no sewer connections and bathrooms were really dirty. Do not expect cell coverage and lodge wifi is terrible.
Great location. Plenty trees. Very secluded. Very quiet. Pool, game room, laundry room and trails. Hot showers!Rooms: 4/5
Poor communication, as there were no signs indicating that the bathrooms in E loop we're closed. Nothing said at check and later found a small X on the park map. I am handicapped and this made it more difficult. There were many campers that tried the door and one middle aged man urinated on the building in the front where he was easily seen. The staff check in booth didn't have anyone there many times. We observed a man that swam in the pool, when it is closed. Over all, we expected better as this is the beginning park of Thousand Trails.
