Excellent food and service! Highly recommend Three Peaks GrillFood: 5/5
We visited this "upscale" restaurant to celebrate a big birthday and were utterly disappointed. The food was ok but no where near the quality we were expecting but the service was honestly some of the worst service I've ever experienced in my life. I'm not going to waste my time elaborating further but for the price you pay and the experience you'd expect to accompany it, this restaurant completely failed. I would never recommend someone visit or spend their money here.
We felt it was Very overpriced for what we received…. For example, a “side” of broccoli was 15$ it came out, clearly fresh out of the microwave, swimming in hot water - no seasoning or anything, just soggy. The salmon was almost 40$ and nothing else came on the plate? A flower and a plantain sticking out of it - but - for 40$ I think maybe it should come with some rice or another side to make a meal. It really was bare bones - the complimentary bread basket comes with 2 tiny pieces of bread, the entree is just the entree and the sides are just as expensive. Just a bit of a disappointment and not great service either. For 2 people without cocktails it’s easily over 100$ meal and we left hungry.
What a lovely evening we had, but it didn't start out that way. Plan was to go downtown for dinner but the parking was non-existent, such a busy weekend. So headed for the mountain for dinner but got turned around by the detour. Had seen Three Peaks on the way up so decided to give it a try. Vanessa was a blessing and a gift, she saved our evening and turned it into a wonderful memory.
We came here the last weekend in June to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful experience! Our waiter was very friendly along with the rest of the staff, and the service was exceptional! The steaks and everything we ordered was done to perfection. We especially enjoyed the Blue Cheese crusted sirloin, the truffle mashed potatoes, and the creme brûlée! Loved the beautiful outdoor patio garden and the atmosphere inside where we had dessert, made our night so romantic! *If you are worried about eating out right now, 3 Peaks Grill is for sure going above and beyond to ensure a clean and safe restaurant. I definitely witnessed them fully and properly disinfecting the tables and chairs after customers left. I even watched them time the disinfectant before seating another customer. I have actually seen employees in other restaurants really rush the sanitation so I truly appreciate 3 Peaks Grill!
What a special place…in a world of glorified corporate chains this place shines in comparison! Great wine list, delicious oysters, and amazing entrees. Not to mention the ambiance and friendly service-highly recommended.
We enjoyed dinner so much Last night that we are going to return again tonight for happy hour! The drinks were wonderful and the food was incredible! The duck was yummy and the crab cakes too! Relaxing, live music, and great customer service!
Easily one of the best places to eat in Steamboat. I had a wonderful, memorable dinner with my parents here about two weeks ago. Great selection of very fresh oysters. Everything we had was great. Very nice and personable staff, and it was a pleasure chatting with the owner as well. I've also been here many times pre-CoViD, and the food has always been consistently excellent. NOBODY likes CoViD and the business and entertainment realities it created -- not patrons, and certainly not business owners. That said, I think Three Peaks is doing a pretty good job considering the situation. I'm personally concerned about the pandemic to the extent that I, unfortunately, hardly eat out like I used to. However, I must say that Three Peaks' spacious facility with high, vaulted ceilings is particularly well suited to indoor dining in this context. I felt comfortable, and I think there was very good separation between dining parties to an extent probably not possible in most restaurants. Even if you're not worried about CoViD, I think you will still appreciate the more private feel to the dining experience. From the patron's perspective, the CoViD annoyance factor was pretty low. You wear a mask for like a minute when you walk in, and then when the dinner starts, you can almost forget about the last year.
This place was great from the call I had to asking about their availability, walking in and wished a good dinner , Ian our waiter was so personable and had great suggestions. Beginning to end great. Customer service top tier, the oysters were the best oysters we have had in a while , everything delicious, good music in the background just all around a nice, relaxing, delicious and enjoyable experience
We just had our New Years Eve dinner at Three Peaks Grill, we ordered some appetizers, cocktails, the kids, mocktails, etc. We ordered our main course and a bottle of wine with dinner 2019 Prisoner per the menu. They brought a 2021 that was not up to par. When we asked to send it back, after discussing with the waitress if it was the right bottle, which I have never done before in my life, the Manager, came over and was very argumentative. He took the 3/4 full bottle and our two glasses of wine back with no replacement. I was then charged the full $108 for the bottle. By the way, our bill was in excess of $450 before the wine, we were not looking for some free wine, just what we ordered. I have never had such a bad and awkward dinning experience. We come to Steamboat twice a year Summer and Winter and will never go back to Three Peaks Grill. My kids and wife were speechless. For the record, our waitress, was very kind and probably felt as awkward as we did. Never again. Happy freaking New Years! 1/4/23 - as a follow up from my New Year's Eve post, Michael, the manager tracked us down, apologized and refunded the wine. I appreciate his apology and making the situation right.
