Thriftking Computer

4/5 stars. I honestly want to give the man 5, but truthfully it should be a three. With the cards stacked against shop owners and rent prices always on the move, it's not hard to see the struggle. Odd start to a review, eh ? ThriftKing has it all !!! I assume Upon pulling into the parking lot, you are greeted by an older style office complex that may or may not share room and board. Walking to the entrance, you are given the impression of a wide - if not deep appearance of a shop, something similar to your typical pawn shop layout. Upon entering however, you are greeted by a single room, no larger that 15x20. There are two rows of industrial shelving going the length of the shop, one shelving unit directly beside the entrance, and one further back against the wall. All stocked and stacked, floor to ceiling. AIOs, fans, controllers, towers, ram, hard drives, wifi adapters.... The list goes on and on and on... I again assume they have everything.. But you'll never know !! Their website gives you flashbacks to MySpace, and Netscape navigator. It is slow, hard to navigate, and isn't complete. It's shows potentially 1/10th of their stock. Back in the shop, you still have no idea what all is to be purchased. Nor the price of anything. Not sure if you're aloud past the cashier's desk, with the lone employee clicking away at their PC. Not much of a talker. I walked in looking for a wifi adapter, and walked out with a reasonably priced wifi adapter. Did I want to explore? Maybe. Would I have spent more, if I were aloud to explore? A+ online shopping experience. Good customer service. Received items in a timely fashion from across the country in mint condition. Will definitely shop online here again.

Searched high and low on Christmas Eve for the correct ram for my stepsons PC. Called Thrift King and they were happy to help. When I arrived they had exactly what I needed and took the time to explain to me what I needed and why I needed it. Was also cheaper than Bestbuy. I appreciated the information and their willingness to help.

Phenomenal prices and service. I was initially skeptical because of how good the prices were, but after visiting Bill first, I decided to buy from him. He built me a computer to my specifications that transcends cultural standards of beauty. It was cheaper than anywhere else I could find and one of the most neatly put together towers I've seen. I will certainly be dealing with Bill again in the future. I will also update this review if I experience any issues down the road.

Found a GPU at a relatively reasonable price on their site. Was initially slightly apprehensive to buy from them as they only accept bank transfer. After reading some reviews and speaking to Bill on the phone, I went ahead and ordered from them. My experience was entirely positive; communication was great at all times, and shipping was amazingly fast to AB. Recommend.

Bill knows is stuff!!! Honest, reliable and great prices.

It's got decent prices, they will fix your computer, and if you need help with something like a bios update they can help with that to.

Thift King is excellent and knowledgeable ,Contrary to the negative nelly last reviewer ,his prices are actually very good .He is not Amazon ,,he is a superb family owned business and a very good one. Always happy with Thriftking. No, he can't compete with online but he comes close enough. If we don't support local stores like this will dissappear

I've been dealing with Bill since he opened his first location. He has always been fair with pricing and has rebuilt my computer 3 times now. I'm currently awaiting upgrading my CPU for less than the Amazon price.
