Clare O'Nan holds a master's degree in acupuncture and a doctoral degree in Oriental Medicine. She has been practicing acupuncture since 2002 and is board certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Clare has worked as a licensed acupuncturist in Washington, Colorado, Israel, and Mississippi. Clare is one of the few licensed acupuncturists in the State of Mississippi. Clare has received advanced training in Chinese Medicine Ophthalmology, pain treatment, and substance abuse.
Clare's focus is primarily on pain and ophthalmologic conditions, including macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, dry eyes, and more. She is the only licensed acupuncturist in Mississippi who specializes in vision treatment and one of a few in the country. Clare is also passionate about treating complex medical issues, including conditions that are difficult to treat with Western ("regular") Medicine.
Clare has worked extensively with both chronic and acute pain, including sciatica, chronic back/neck/shoulder/knee/joint pain, chemotherapy (side effect) pain, arthritis, digestive disorders, and more.
