Thunderzone is a family entertainment facility located in Douglasville, Ga. We offer activities such as bowling, arcade, laser tag and bumper cars. We came out tonight to celebrate my friend husband birthday. We have had an amazing experience. The staff was amazing and the manager was SUPER COOL!!! She recommended good drink and food choices. The amount for the bowling was decent and not overly pricey. But the reason that they get 3 stars from me and not 5 is because whoever owns this place does not appeal at all to the black customers that they have in this facility. I asked the manager about the music and if it could be changed and she politely explained that she could not change up the music from the mainly white mainstream music because she was not allowed to by ownership. She apologized and said that it’s a family entertainment center and I get that but it’s NO KIDS IN HERE for real and as a person of color I feel that the music should be diversified and appeal to the LARGE AFRICAN AMERICAN crowd that also comes in here and spend our money too. I asked her what nationality the ownership was and she didn’t want to get into that and maintained that she was unable to change the music. But ownership should realize that the African American customer spends as much money in here as anyone else and would like to see our culture represented more
Had a nice time. Went on a Friday night about 6:00 and barely anyone there. Of course, most people didn't start showing up until around 9:00 for cosmic bowling. Ordered food and it was very tasty. Party of 8 at noon today! Young ladies working the bowling counter were VERY nice and helped me pick a package and save some $! Kids LOVED laser tag, thanks to the nice young man that helped us with that. Games were fun, cosmic bowling was great, the real star was JACKIE, the bartender at JT's that brought us everything we needed and quickly. Pizza, wings, drinks, refills, napkins, plates, etc. When we told her the kids were thirsty from laser tag she immediately brought our drinks out. Thank You Jackie! Our party had fun!!!
Very unprofessional!! This is not a dig at the young guys working the counter, but the manager was very rude for a mistake made on their end. We were accused of not paying for games & shoes. Our receipts reflected otherwise & once the issue was “resolved” the manager just walked away. She didn’t apologize, she didn’t even tell us it was fixed, she just walked off. Her tone & demeanor was very aggressive. I couldn’t believe she was a manager. My daughter enjoyed her time, however we will never come back. I love to have fun & don’t mind spending money, but not at an establishment that doesn’t have great customer service. I wish i would’ve recorded the exchange between the manager & I, it was so wild that I thought I was being pranked. I don’t know her name but she wears glasses and has twists all over her head. The absolute worst experience ever & we visit Thunderzone often. Never again!
We had my daughter's BiRtHdAy Pretty there today 8-6-22 and we all had so much fun! The guy that helped us get anything we needed for the party was amazing and very helpful, thank you D! Oh, and they turned the music off on our side because several of the teenagers has a sensory processing disorder and the loud music bothers them.
I wish I could leave no stars. Very unprofessional and could've been conducted business wise in a better way. We drove 30 minutes for a friend's birthday gathering and they were turning people away because there wasn't enough patrons to stay open. Do better. No management was present outside to offer anything to those arriving, just a security guard outside telling the many cars that drove up that they were closed.
I was a guest to a birthday party in one of the party rooms. The catered buffet food was wonderful with a nice variety and delicious. The Thunderzone was quite large with lots of fun. Great job Ms Jaime!!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait

When I went to this location, my card was charged twice without my knowledge. I just so happened to check my bank app and seen that the transaction was processed twice, once at 6:44 and then again at 6:48. When I went to the desk to inform a worker, they told me that the second charge didn't get processed and it would just go back to my card, I said ok and continued bowling. Two days later I see that both charges have been posted to my bank. I called to get the situation fixed and just get a refund. I called at 5:00 pm because that's what time google says they open. I was told by the manager that answered it was above his pay grade to assist me. He then said "the other manager left and is probably on the way to get her kids." the manager I was speaking to had a rude tone and my issue was not resolved. I will never go back to this bowling alley.
Decent atmosphere for high schoolers. I don't understand why they have the regular n vip side when they are directly adjacent from each other. So on vip you're not necessarily getting that cosmic dim light bowling effect bc the lights from everywhere else shine over. Decent spot in Douglasville. Maybe they shld incorporate an adult bowling night
