To be honest after the remodeling it's actually better, I love the fact that is not just a pool but a trail that you can move a long. Now parking on a busy day is absurd. But if is not a busy or hit day you can find parking close. Rated for a park pass is outrageous. But the park itself is very enjoyable.
What can I say, the place is a piece of heaven. You can walk or walk your dog bike hike picnic or swim in the pool. You can enjoy watching the birds. I enjoyed my walk and loved the place. Playground: There are 2 playgrounds, one for little kids and one for older kids. Restrooms: There are restrooms by the entrance of the park in the white building Dog-friendliness: Yes, there are long paths to walk your dogs Picnic area: Big piece of land for picnic
First I must say this is a very clean park. I visited the pool on a Monday which was a bit crowded. The crowd disbursed maybe 30 minutes into us being there. It seems they were on a school/summer camp trip. There is a parking lot fairly close to the entrance of the pool. Close enough for an able person to walk but not ideal for someone in a wheelchair. The fee to park with the park pass is $5 and $10 without the pass but with your ID with a westchester address. The entrance fee is $8 with the park pass and $10 for each adult guest. We paid $18 for two adults and an infant, who gets free admission. The lazy river is only 2 feet so be careful not to scrape a knee. The waterfalls in the lazy river were not in operation. However there were two sections where the water is deeper by 2 feet. Those areas has a volleyball net and basketball hoops. There are tubes of various sizes for everyone’s use of the lazy river. The kiddie section was in full swing but extremely cold. There are also two huge water slides conjoined with a mountain of steps to climb. The restrooms a ok, seems really old and dreary. Restrooms: There are separate restrooms for men and women.
We were here a few weeks ago and we loved it so much, so we decided to visit again a few days ago since they have the pool open right, well we found out that they are charging for parking and you have to be a local resident of Westchester in order to park and get access to the pool section I was kinda disappointed to be honest but overall if you're not going to pay for parking inside and your parking outside which is free and not using the pool, then yeah it's a wonderful park to visit and it has some wonderful walking/biking paths.
I had not been here in years. There are a lot of improvements being made, and trails are well kept. They offer many good views of the lake. It is off-season, so I can't comment on the pools.
So many updates and improvements since I’ve been here last. We host our annual Family Picnic here and this year was the first one since 2019. A phenomenal event and our picnic area was fantastic. Picnic area: Great space for family and friends to talk and hang out. Love the updates slabs and benches.
Looks like an awesome public amusement park with plenty to do for a reasonable price. From the full featured outdoor water park with a massive slide to the mini golf course, this is a heaven for young kids and adults with the heart of a child. Stopped by in the winter when all the fun attractions were closed for the season where the park still serves as a great place to connect with nature and disconnect from the world. Not a lot of vehicle noise surrounded by low vehicle travel speed neighborhoods. Not super popular with only a few people walking along the trails.
Great place to spend a few hours with the kids. Nice and clean facilities. Good lazy river and water slides. Definitely worth a visit if you're close by
We went for a walk at this park, there is a mountain bike trail where you can have a nice walk. The pools are great went is not busy. Nice parking space and mot far from Central Ave.
This place has a great little lazy river, where you can spend all day. It has water basketball and water volleyball area to used energy during the day. They have a water slide adjacent to the eating area. You can bring food or buy food there. There is an area to do a picnic. There a kids area where a bucket fills with water and it spill over to soak all near bystanders. Great place to bring your family. Parking is ten dollars plus the cost of the pool. Westchester county only admission. You will need a state ID to prove it. Outside are hiking trails and river. Also miniature golf. Plan a day you will enjoy.
