THINK TWICE BEFORE SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT. Would not recommend this dentist or business to anyone seeking professional help and wisdom. They are only seeking money and do not care about their patients. I was told that I had two cavities that needed filling, once you know it, they send me to get two root canals. Then they have the audacity to tell me that I have another cavity and if I would like to go ahead and get that done as well. 9 years has passed and to this day, no other dentists have ever found that mysterious “third” cavity that this amateur dentist was referring to. My teeth are still hurting and I am so mad that I ever trusted this so called doctor. Please, do not trust this provider. They just care about money. I am going to call and request my old x rays to confirm with other dentist about their disgusting work.

Let me start off by saying that i’m not a fan of dentists! had very bad experience in the past, but i had a tooth that started to bother me and i had no choice but to come in and take care of it. Heard about this place from my co-worker, who is long time patient here. They were able to work with my insurance, I have Guardian PPO. Dr. Le is super nice and professional all of my questions were answered and I felt comfortable every step of the way!!! I am definitely coming back!!! And will recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a dentist!!!

They don’t really care about messing up your teeth and when they have to fix it they refused to properly numb my teeth. It’s been at least 6 months and my teeth still hurts.

Great office! My family and I have been coming here for years! Dr. Le is caring and a true professional. I’ve had bad experience’s with dentists before..... let’s face it no one like to come in to the dentist! When I first became a patient at this office they took their time to explain everything and give me alternative options. Will recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a great dentist in San Diego!

I’ve been coming to Tierra Town Dental ever since moving back to San Diego 5yrs ago. Dr. Le and her great Staff have performed numerous procedures to get my Dental health in the best shape in years. They are friendly and professional in all they do. I can’t say enough positive things about Tierra Town Dental. I highly recommend them !

This place should be reported. Tram Le's practice is all about the upsell. I move frequently and am used to the process of getting setup with a new dentist. 45 minutes for an x ray and cleaning is standard. Here they had me in the chair for an hour just to take an x-ray. No cleaning- they said that I would have to setup another appointment for the cleaning and instead took more time to talk to me about $300 of cosmetic work. They took over an hour for a set of x-rays, but had a quote ready and waiting for me at the reception desk on the way out. Tram Le is more interested in revenue from elective cosmetic work than setting up a respected practice. The sign 'Active Duty Welcome' should have been a big red flag that they rely on young servicemen who don't know any better to fill the patient rolls. I took a glance at their schedule on the way out. No more than 4 appointments for the entire day. WOW. I was the only soul in there for more than an hour with four staff working. Also shame on the staff, when asked if things were moving slow because this was a new practice, for blaming their slow service on the nice new dental assistant. Obvious to anyone in there for more than 15 minutes where the real problem is.

I told the receptionist I just needed X-Rays, which my insurance covers, which she said is just fine. When I got there the dentist was all pissed off that I only wanted X-Rays and said she "only treats the whole patient." Then she gave me a super fast exam, told me in a super casual manner that I had four cavities, then walked away. I am 31 and I've never had a cavity in my life. Then I HAD TO PAY $15 TO HAVE MY X-RAYS EMAILED TO MY OTHER DENTIST. A week later, the office had the nerve to call and ask if I wanted to come back for fillings. Oh yea, and they hadn't yet emailed the x-rays to the other office. Oh one more thing, when I came for my 1pm appointment everyone was on lunch and I couldn't even get into the office until 1:15. Turned my lunch hour into two and a half hours. I recommend to stay away from this place. Also the dental assistant made numerous mistakes during the x-ray and had to re-take several of them. She said not to worry it isn't much radiation...uh ok, I guess that's why they put a lead vest on you and she walks out of the room? I dunno, I've never had a dental assistant need to re-take x-ray pics ever.

Brought my 7-year old daughter in for a teeth cleaning... they told me she had 4 cavities and needed braces. Went to a PPO, more professional, dentist, he told me she had no cavities and that putting braces on baby teeth is a waste. Found Tierra Town Dental to be unscrupulous salespeople, more than professional dentists.

I had a terrible experience at this dental office. Their main goal is to milk you for as much money as possible. I spent thousands of dollars at this office and found out after I changed dentists that much of the work had not been needed. I would NOT recommend this office or the owner to anyone I know. v

A phenemonal place with a friendly staff. They are very understanding and willing to work all their patients as far as scheduling and payments. I’ve been coming here for awhile and do not see myself going anywhere else.
