The Tiffin Glass Collectors Club/Museum honors the heritage established by the men and women of Tiffin’s “Glass House” and the glass they produced.
Originally founded in 1888 as A. J. Beatty and Sons Glass Company, it became Factory R of United States Glass Company in 1892. One of 17 original glass factories in the consolidation, it operated as the main blown glass plant until the company foundered in 1963. Reorganized in 1964, the factory changed hands several times from then until final operations ceased in 1980. Ownership included Tiffin Art glass, Continental Can, Interpace and Towle. Warehouse inventory was sold from the show room until 1984 when all operations ceased.
Dedicated to the preservation of glassware and memorabilia produced by the Tiffin Glass factory.
