Timberlake Resort And Campground

My family has been camping here for over 45 years. It gets better every year. Friendly staff, awesome pool, and poolside bar! Lots of fun activities for families. Good experience every time! Nearby activities: Timber Lake Theater is amazing. Safety: No problems.

We have a 37' Class A. Did not hit one low hanging branch driving through the campground getting to my. site... Had a concrete pad that was really level. Plenty of space. Full hook up. Picnic table. Fire ring. Live music Friday night and Saturday night. Really easy going owners. New favorite campground. Will definitely be booking again soon!!!

Stayed Memorial Day weekend. All the sites have full hookups. The pool had very cold water . Make sure to put your towels on your pool seats very early. Seasonal campers claim a lot of the pool area for partying. There was a band every night. If you go to sleep early or don't like load music, this is not a good place for weekend camping. Very large amounts of seasonal campers. Would try it again since it is close to home.

Timber Lake Resort is a great place to camp. The staff are very friendly and available to assist in all your needs. There are activities for adults and children to keep things fun. Or you can spend time at the pool, fishing in the lake or time at the Margarita Bar. They have bingo, bag, bands and activities going on thoughout the weekend. The sites have cement pads with a fire pit. Ron, the owner is very helpful. My camper hydraulis would not work and he got them to close so l was able to be on my way. I could not have done it without him. l would recommend Timber Lake Resort to all who love to have fun or just want to relax by the fire.

I work every weekend so decided to go camping on Wednesday to Friday which is also a 3 hour ride. I originally booked site T6 and then asked if we can have tent site T4 after seeing all the rocks, trees, and uneven ground on T6. Kris at the front desk said YES but would have to leave early Friday because campers had reserved that site. I said no problem. The Friday people showed up on Thursday and we were told we had to move our whole campsite back to T6 because they came early. That's not my fault. On top of everything the campers were laughing at us because we had to move. How ignorant!! Kris did give us a crisp 50 dollar bill for our trouble of moving our campsite but we will not be back. If you are going to book here make sure the reservation is CORRECT so they don't make you move. Otherwise it's a nice place.

Great place, owner / operator Ron has made this place almost magical. Perfect for all ages, if you don’t have a great visit here you won’t have a great time anywhere. From trick or treating to great entertainment to a fun bar to the great pool and bathroom facilities this had been our families preferred stops twice a year for many years. Memories abound! We already have reservations for next year. Four generations so far, not to mention extended family and friends. Thank you Ron.

The owners and staff are very nice and helpful. The resort and the cabin we stayed in was very clean and nice. The cabin was very nice but we were under the impression that there was a full kitchen but there was no oven. We were a little disappointed with the activities for kids. The website said there was a game room but it was just a ping pong table. The lake was very nice and the fishing was great for the kids, they caught a ton of small bluegills. Overall, the resort and the people were wonderful.

After spending two summers as seasonal campers, Our golf cart was stolen in broad daylight from our seasonal camp site and the owner did nothing but spread lies and perpetuate hurtful rumors!! Timberlake campground is fun for a weekend but I would never recommend becoming seasonal campers! Too much drama!!!

Timber lake resort is great campground, something always going on! Owner Ron is always around and so helpful along with his staff. Clean grounds, spacious sites, new upgrades every year, pool is great and the People are so nice there! Live bands almost every weekend at margarita bar and every weekend is a different theme for activities. Even though there is a lot going on, there is still plenty of space if you just want to relax. The Lake is nice for fishing and boat rentals. Very kid and pet friendly. Definitely will be back for many more weekends and memories!!
