The Timnath Police Department was founded by the Timnath Town Council in the Spring of 2008 and began serving the Town of Timnath in the Fall of 2008. Our first full-time patrol officer was hired February, 2009. Presently, the Timnath Police Department consists of the Chief of Police, one Police Sergeant and five Patrol Officers. Our goal is to grow along with the Town and expand the Timnath Police Department into a 24-hour department in the next three years.
